Finders Keepers

FINDERS KEEPERS (Unsold pilot)

Tape date: 1985
Host: "Ni-Fi"
Announcer: Kevin McMahon
Co-Host: "Sci-Fi"

GAME PLAY

Two teams of two, the orange and yellow teams, competed. One was in the studio, while their partner was in a location in the United States. When the clock started, the in-studio player, equipped with a map of the area their partner was in, told them where clue cards were. Teams had three minutes in the first round, two in the second. Each clue card earned them a prize and had a drawing on it. The drawings were clues towards the identity of a TV show, character, etc. Once they knew the answer, they ran back to start. When they arrived, the clock stopped. Each team searched the same location, and then a second location. The team with the most time left won the game.

In the bonus round, they had one minute to search a new location. It had ten hiding spots as shown on the map. One of them contained the day's treasure. If it was found they won the treasure as well as $5,000.

NOTES
This pilot was produced my JM Productions. Their only game shows aired were the 1983 entry, "Starcade" and the more obscure "The Video Game".

"Finders Keepers" was piloted for the ABC network.

One of the prizes given away on the pilot was 5,600 pieces of bubble gum.
