Gary Kroeger: "If one of these people play their cards right, they can win over $50,000!"
Gary Kroeger: "It's time for the All-New Card Sharks!"
The most recent version premiered September 17, 2001.
Pat Bullard, the current host, was seen on on his own talk show a few years back and on the revival of "Love Connection".
The new dealer, Tami Anderson, was a "Real World" cast member.
She said on the premiere she was a fan of the old show, and in this pic was saying hi to Jim Perry.
The rules to the new version are somewhat different. It starts, as always, with two contestants.
Each contestant plays off the same row of seven cards. Calling a card wrong means passing control to your opponent.
The player who drew the high card backstage can pass or play on the first card. Cards are now revealed by press of the button.
If you want to change your card, you have to use a "clip chip". Each player only gets two to use throughout the entire show, and can only use one per card.
