Chaos

8/11/2004

As the crowd funneled into the stadium, the ring crew had just finished setting up for another explosive Chaos show. The stage manager began the countdown for the explosive fireworks display that fans have grown accustomed to at the beginning of every show. Tonight was different however. As the fans were getting riled up for the start of the show, none other than former GM Eli Jimenez stormed down the ring, no pyro, no music, no welcome to the show, nothing. He was livid from the results of the match in which he lost his GM position.

“This is all a bunch of crap!” He bellowed into the mic. The crowd was hot already and instantly began to boo the former GM. “This is still MY show! No one can prove that they can outwrestle me and steal my spot as the GM! That spot was appointed to me by the powers that be. Sure my contract was coming to an end, and I did agree that whoever stepped up to the challenge to out wrestle me would be the new GM. But all B could prove was that he could take a big bump from the top of the cage. I had the match won dammit! Roll the damn footage!”

Up on the Titantron footage was shown of Eli pulling his body out the door of the cage. At first glance it seemed like he would have won the match had B not jumped from the top of the cage, kicking the door in on Eli’s face on his way down and slamming hard on the canvas outside the ring.

Eli continued his rant. “That does not prove a damn thing! All that shows is that B can fall really hard from the top of the cage and damn near break his body so he could win the stipulation of the match. I am pissed! The board of Trustees is pissed! And this will not fly! I won’t let that slide so easily, so B get your ass out here, because we have unfinished business!”

He looked to the top of the ramp as B’s music hit. B was indeed there in a suit, and for the first time in a long time, a smile was on his face, and it wasn’t a sadistic smile. Slowly he walked to the ring and stood face to face with Eli, who was still in a business suit. The crowd cheered wildly, definitely enjoying the surreal minutes that ticked away as both men stared each other down, feeding off the crowd reaction, yet not turning away from each other.

Although B has been a man of few words lately, he finally broke the tension. He began to speak into the mic and the crowd briefly went silent to listen to what he had to say. “As the new GM….” Eli’s eyes nearly popped out of his socket at the opening statement, knowing B was rubbing it in his face. “As the new GM, my first order of business is to give these fans what they want.” The fans definitely liked that as they cheered for B over Eli.

“Eli, you called yourself a fair and just man. Unfortunately for you, I won’t be! I’ve already booked a great match for Revolution. But I am giving the fans what they want. Next week on Chaos, you will be in action, in a HANDICAPPED MATCH against Clynetime and BG, the 703 Boys!!!”

Eli was livid. “You can’t do this to me!! This is bullsh*t! I would never make a match like this! Either way there is no way the board of Trustees will allow you to put a main event superstar such as myself in a handicapped match. I am the champion, and by putting me in the match you are risking injury to this division’s champion, and could ruin your PPV buyrate!!”

B chuckled. “I anticipated that. You see I already spoke with the board, and I have struck a deal. Next week, on Chaos, it will be Eli vs. 703 boys. I’ll even try to make it fair for you. If you win the match, then I will make sure that Jay Taylor, who now serves as Tony’s technical coach, will be barred from ringside at Revolution. If you refuse to participate then I will be forced to strip you of the title indefinitely. So you better bring your “A game” next week against the 703 Boys.”

Match #1

The DS Boys vs 703

The first official match under the new rule of Mr. B was a rematch of the CHAOS BRAWL PPV. DS Inc was losing momentum since their team captain Eli lost his job as the GM, but they still had the tag team belts, and they felt that they had a lot to prove by beating 703. The match had its regular high spots with 703 coming close on several occasions to stealing the victory. At one point Greg was recovering outside the ring, and Ben G and Clynetime were giving Josh a vicious beating. Both men successfully lifted Josh onto the top turnbuckle and sat him down. Then they climbed the second rope and with much strength and force they flipped him over their bodies in a superplex from the turnbuckle. Ben covered Josh, and the ref counted ONE, TWO, TH----but then Greg grabbed the referee’s legs and pulled him out of the ring. Greg and the ref exchanged heated words until Clyne attacked Greg on the outside. This gave Emily the chance to throw a pair of brass knucks to Josh, who smartly used it against Ben G, knocking him out cold. Josh called for the ref and he counted ONE TWO THREE! The DS boys retained their tag team titles.

Winner: DS Boys

Match #2

Redneck Finch vs. Brandon Walsh

Chants of “BORING” filled the stadium as these two men squared off. No one really gave a damn about this match.
