JULY 14th, 2004 CHAOS SHOWS

SUMMARY:

This show kicked off with Eli Jimenez coming down to the ring with his cronies Greg Martus and Josh Render. Eli was the new champion as he walked to the ring and confetti fell from the top of the arena. The crowd cheered but more in a taunting way. The fans were into the fanfare however but the signs around the arena showed the support for the former champion Jay Taylor and the Manbeast Tony Lozon. Lozon and Taylor have recently seemed to join forces but no one is for sure. They worked together but were out done by DS Inc.

DS Inc. entered the ring and Jimenez spoke. “Today, I stand before you not only as the GM, but also as your new Choas World Champion! With the birth of this new show Chaos comes a time of change. The new show births a change in leadership. The new show births a change in régime. DS Inc now steers this ship and we will steer it all the way to Wrestlemania and beyond! Jay Taylor was a fair champion, but now you have a man you can be proud of. You have a man you can worship and idolize to symbolize what you can not achieve.” The crowd yelled in frustration and Jay Taylor chants broke out. “You can chant for Jay Taylor all you want because he will not be here tonight.” The crowd boo’ed. “I have two major announcements to make here tonight and I will give you one now, and the other at the end of the show. I am sorry to say that Jay Taylor was placed on the Disabled List today with torn ligaments in his knee. He will not be able to wrestle until the end of September and therefore forfeits the rematch clause in his contract. It looks like we will have to search low at the bottom of the barrel to find someone to stand up to the new powerhouse in the WWE, DS. Inc!”

The DS Inc music erupted and the crowd screamed.

Match #1

Dave “The Wasp” Wassic vs. Clynetyme

Results: The match was the typical curtain jerker. The energy was slow at first but the support in the crowd for Clynetyme got things going. After a nice double legged drop kick from the top ropes Clyne pinned for the 2 count but the buzzing Wasp kicked out. Clynetyme sent Dave off the ropes and dropkicked Dave to the mat. Clyne climbed the top rope and leapt into a crossbody take down pin that Dave Wassic rolled over and reversed into the three count for the victory. After being in control most of the match, Clyne was pissed at the result. From the replay on the monitor it seemed as if Dave had a hold on the shorts of Clyne for the illegal leverage victory, but this is disputable.

Winner: Wassic

Match #2

Ricky O’ban vs. DJ Finch

Results: Rick brought his usual flair to the match and excited the crowd. Using his speed and agility Rick frustrated the larger Finch and eventually took him down with an enzuguri. Rick pinned but Finch threw him out of the pin. It was all downhill from there for O’Ban. Finch capitalized on the distraction from his valet Heather and locked O’Ban in the Redneck Bearhug. Rick tapped out quickly and Finch was the winner. DJ did not stop there however. He proceeded to kick O’Ban around the ring and eventually held Ricky O up so Heather could bitch slap him. Referees stormed the ring to break up the maylay.

Winner: DJ Finch

The end of the show was near and DS Inc once again took the ring to make their second huge announcement. This time Emily was accompanying them. Eli grabbed the mic as the DS boys taunted the crowd. “I said I had one more announcement. No, I am not announcing the man who will get a title shot because there is no man on this short roster who is even close to being deserving of a title shot. However, as the new champion, my time is spread thin. I am an extremely busy man in this lime light. Last week alone I appeared on Kathy Lee and Regis, had 4 photo shoots for wrestling magazines, 1 shoot for GQ, a hair appointment, a nail appointment, and a ceremony unveiling a new statue of me in Jackson Michigan. I barely slept. Therefore I have come to a conclusion and that I am a fair and just man. I am issuing a challenge to any man in the back who can beat me in a match of my choice. I am sorry, as I said before, no one is worthy of a title shot. Many of you may have read on the internet that my contract as the GM is coming to an end. However, the WWE board of Trustees said they will evaluate my job done here and if I am the best man for the job, I will be offered a 1 year extension. I am a fair and just man and therefore, to prove that I am the best man, I will issue this match challenge for the GM position. I am confident that if someone steps forth, I will beat them. But in the same breath, I am sure no one will even step forth out of fear of embarrassment. Next week on Chaos, I will pose the question once again, and we will see who steps up. As for the match type of my choosing, it will be a special guest referee steel cage match!”

The List.
