Show: Chaos
The following is an excerpt from the local radio show on AM1470 in Kalamazoo. Station DJ Manny Ballzack was talking about the Chaos Division in the WWE with special correspondent Scottie McPoots.
Ballzack: Scottie, what the hell happened last week?
McPoots: Tony and Taylor became the Chaos tag-champs as the DS Inc plan backfired. Taylor now holds both belts for a first in the division.
Ballzack: What is in store for tonight Live on Chaos?
McPoots: Here is my take. Tony and Taylor have unfinished business and I am sure they will address it tonight. Tony will probably find a way to tear his head off. DS Inc will have to rebound after not only getting screwed by 703, but also losing their titles. This most obviously puts Jay at a huge disadvantage at the upcoming PPV. If the Chaos tag-titles are defended, that will put Jay in two matches. I just do not think he can defend the tag titles with Tony, and then turn around and win against Tony and Eli. Jay will lose, and I predict that he will lose both belts. Eli Jimenez is too intelligent to let Jay have the last laugh. In addition to some of these questions being answered, DJ Finch and B will certainly have something to say about their unbelievable match. Is their score settled.
Ballzack: Well folks, there you have it. Spoken from a true wrestling genius, McPoots knows his Chaos wrestling
The Wednesday July 7th Chaos kicked off with an immediate camera view of a lockerroom door that read The Manbeast. The crowd groaned except for a section in the upper deck that was plastered with signs that read, “Manbeast Row.” The camera slowly panned out to Jay Taylor. The crowd cheered. Jay took a deep breath and showed confidence as he opened the door and entered. Jay walked into the room and Tony rose from his bench and the two looked each other square in the eyes. There was no hesitation from either man as neither would back down. The crowd was tense as well. Taylor smiled, stepped back and spoke, “We need to talk.”
“What the hell about. This tag team title run we have. Well piss on it and piss on DS Inc. You know that I got screwed out of my title shot and….”. Tony spoke but was cut off.
Jay replied, “Let me speak. To be quite honest, that match should have continued because I would have won. I didn’t cheat anymore that you did. Ziegler is young and made a bad call. With that being said, and after recent events, I have a proposition for you that I believe will set everything straight.”
Tony stared Jay down with a puzzled look, took a step back and said, “I’m listening.”
Jay continued, “You understand that we will have to defend these titles against DS Inc at the next PPV because Eli has that control. You understand that now that Eli has booked himself and you against me in a triple threat match for the Chaos Championship that he gains a clear advantage because we will fight not once but twice that night.”
Tony was weary of a possible trick but nodded that he was following.
Jay spoke some more. “Here is my plan. We fight that tag team match and we work as a well-oiled machine. We put our difference aside, dominate together, and save ourselves for that Triple Threat. Now you know that due to the fact it is a no DQ match that Eli will lie, cheat, and steal that victory by using The DS boys or whatever else. You and I fight that triple threat as a normal triple threat. If the DS boys or anyone else shows up to screw us, we team up, eliminate the threat and this will leave us as the only two standing. Then, we face off, one on one. We face off without interference, on equal ground, and may the best man win. If you beat me one on one that night, I will be the first man to raise your arm in victory. I will not lose my title to lies and deception. If I lose this title, I will make damn sure that it is in the same manner of that when I won, fair and square.”
Tony turned around and stared down at the ground. You could sense the tension going through his mind and the agony he would have helping Jay. He balled up his fists and turned around facing Jay again. Jay asked and extended his hand for a handshake, “Do we have a deal?” Tony walked up and looked Jay directly in the eyes and spoke, “We have a deal.” The two foes shook hands and the crowd shouted the most mixed reaction in recent history.
LOUGAINIS: I can not believe what I just saw.
BRONK: Damnit Lou, Jay is a tricky little bastard. He is up to something.
LOUGAINIS: I don’t agree. Jay just wants the odds even.
BRONK: Well, whatever the reason, I am sure that if DS Inc finds out, Eli will probably just fire everyone and take the belts home.
July 7th, 2004 Chaos Match #1
Dave “The Wasp” Wassic vs. Zane McBrady(WMU Wrestling School talent)(WMUWS)
MATCH: This was a fairly decent match. Wassic gained the early edge with a series of power moves against the smaller opponent. Zane battled back and hit a nice top rope cross body but only gained a two count. Wassic pinned after a nice DDT but Zane kicked out. With Zane in control, McBrady made a fatal mistake by trying to go for a powerbomb without wearing down The Wasp. Wassic reversed the powerbomb into a huge DDT and pinned for the victory.
After this match Eli Jimenez came to the ring to make the predicted announcement. The crowd was alive and let Jimenez know what they were feeling, hatred. On Sunday Night Heat, Tony and Jay would be defending their tag titles against DS Inc. The Triple Threat match featuring Eli, Tony and Jay would take place later that night during Vengence.
July 7th, 2004 Choas Match #2
Brandon Walsh vs. B
MATCH: This match was basically looked at as a “squash” match but it turned out to be much different than that. B was battered, bruised, and weakened after the HIAC match in which he beat DJ Finch. Finch was hurting even more than B, but was at ringside along with Heather to cheer on Walsh. The match went back and forth for quite a while. Finch and Heather did the usual distract the ref routine and this helped Walsh gain the upper hand. B was standing in the corner dazed and Walsh hit the booty bump sending B in a sitting position in the corner. Walsh then rubbed his arm pit in B’s face to the disgust of the crowd. Stink Pit! B was obviously enraged because shortly after reversing the flow of the match, locked Walsh in a sharpshooter. Walsh tapped out so quickly that Finch and Heather did not even have time to interfere or distract the referee.
July 7th, 2004 Chaos Match #3 : The Main Event
DS Inc. (Jimenez, Render, Martus) vs. 703 (Clyentyme, Ben G) and Ricky O’Ban
MATCH: This was a great match with a ton of commotion. This was the first match in a long time that 703 was a clear cut fan favorite. Render took the early advantage against O’Ban. Martus and Clynetyme were tagged in and went back in forth with old school reversals to the delight of the crowd. This was true cruiserweight show-time. Both men showed great speed and skill. Eli was tagged in and went to work on Clynetyme, but Ben G was tagged in. Ben G and Render eventually squared off and Render pinned for a 2 count after flipping Ben high overhead to the mat. DS Inc distracted the ref and Martus used brass knuckles to take Ben G out of the equaition and to the outside of the ring. Render and Martus worked Ricky O into a wobbly man, and then tagged in Jimenez. After The DS Boys demolished Clynetyme, Jimenez hit the J.K.O. and pinned O’Ban for the victory.
AFTERMATH: The show ended with the DS boys mopping the floors with 703. Jimenez spoke to the crowd that he would no doubt be the next Choas Champion and to add the exclamation point to it all, he guaranteed victory. “I will walk out of Vengence the Chaos Champion, and to that, I place my guarantee.”
SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT
July 11th, 2004
Megan and Rhiannon were in the ring promoting the PPV and the show Chaos. They tossed T-shirts into the crowd and did a good job with the promotion. They talked about the Chaos matches and thanked the fans for their Chaos support.
FALLUCCA: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Chaos Tag Team Titles….
Jay and Tony came out seperatly to the ring to a decent amount of cheers. Both men did not look happy to be in this match. Jay sported the Choas Championship belt around his waist and the tag belt over his shoulder. Jay and Tony were discussing strategies and it was apparent that neither man wanted to take the advice of the other. Bronk remarked that there was no way in hell that these two could exist to become victors of this match and that DS Inc would begin their second title reign shortly.
The DS boys music hit and they came out, void of the bear costumes. It was apparent that they were finished with the shanangins and meant business. The came to the ring and circled it. Render slipped in and he and Tony began firing away at each other. Tony was getting the upper hand and a decent amount of cheers were heard for the first time for the Manbeast. Render was a mini-manbeast and held his own. Tony sent his knee into the side of Render and Render bent over. Tony began clubbing Render on the back until Render dropped to his knees. Tony leapt into the air and headbutted Render straight in the small of the back and the force sent Render to the mat. Tony dropped the big leg and covered only to have Martus enter and kick Tony in the face, breaking the pin. Martus scurried out of the ring as Tony stumbled to the ropes to catch him. This gave Render enough time to gain his feet and clothesline Tony in the back and through the 2nd rope to the outside. Tony hit the mat with a thud. Render then ran to Jay and elbowed him in the face knocking Jay to the outside. Jay jumped up and went to enter the ring but the referee Jake Ziegler stopped him. With Ziegler distracted, Render climbed over the second rope and stood on the ring apron. Martus grabbed a chair and held it over Tony’s head. Tony was on a knee getting to his feet, but during the time he was bent over on that knee, Render leapt and axe handle smashed the chair held by Martus onto Lozon’s skull. Tony hit the ground and the chair was discarded. Render re-entered and Greg helped the woozy Manbeast into the ring. The referee turned to see Tony lying on his back in the ring. Render bounded off the far rope and hit a standing frog splash onto Tony. The crowd groaned as Render covered for the pin. Tony kicked out after the 2 and the crowd began chanting a faint, “Manbeast”.
Josh tagged in his partner and Martus began kicking away at Lozon’s face. Tony was getting to his feet when Martus leapt and kicked Tony in the back of the head. Tony dropped to a knee. The Manbeast was acting human. Martus charged and Tony used a last ditch effort and clothslined Martus to the mat. There was a cut in the back of Lozon’s head from the chair shot and from the power kick to the back of the head by Martus. Both men lie in the middle of the ring crawling towards their corner for the tag. The crowd grew and clapped for the tag. Martus rolled and tagged Josh. Tony stretched out and could not make the tag because Josh had a hold of his leg. Josh pulled Tony to the middle of the ring and grabbed the back of his neck to bring him to his feet. Tony, with a miracle effort, choke slammed Render and fell to the mat. The crowd went crazy. Tony crawled and tagged in Jay and the crowd erupted. Martus entered and Jay clotheslined him to the mat. Render popped up and Jay delivered a stiff shot to Render’s stomach and Josh kneeled over. Martus charged and was sent high over head and crashed to the mat. Jay then whipped Render off the ropes, kicked, and hit a Stunner. Render crumbled and fell out of the ring. Martus was in trouble. Jay was on a roll. Tony was alive and wanted the tag. Tony wanted to lock in his bearhug and end it now. Ziegler was peering over the ropes to check on Render when it happened. Jay went to make the tag, but Emily, welding a chair, smacked Tony hard in the back of the head and Lozon fell to the mat outside hard. Taylor ran to the corner to yell and look at his fallen partner but felt the ring bouncing. Taylor turned just in time to see Eli’s chair shot connect with his face. On the way down, Jay was hit again in the head with a second chair shot. Eli slid out without being seen as the ref turned, and Jay fell hard. Eli and Emily walked up the ramp backwards smiling as Martus covered Jay. Render was now standing and looking at the pinfall. Ziegler counted the one. Ziegler counted the two. And halfway down on the 3 count, Jay kicked out to a thunderous roar. Render was pissed and entered. Martus was enraged too and the two picked Jay to his feet, and went for the double suplex. Jay’s body went halfway over before he reversed the double suplex into a double DDT. The three were sprawled out on the mat. Life began to rise in Jay and he got to his feet and collected his bearings. Jay picked up Redner, stared down Eli, and hit the second Stunner. Render was tossed out of the ring. Tony was gaining his feet and climbed the corner. He was busted wide open and blood filled his eyes. The only thing he saw was Jay’s hand and slapped it. Tony entered and immediately grabbed Martus into a bearhug finisher. Eli charged the ring but Jay jumped down and intercepted. The two exchanged punches and Eli never made it to the ring. Eli probably wished he did make it because Martus tapped out to the Manbeast BearHug. Jay and Tony were definitely wounded but successfully defended the tag titles.
DS Inc was mentally wounded as well because they did not capture gold. The 4 met on the stage and stared down Jay and Tony in the ring. Tony was standing tall, but Jay was not doing so well after the massive chair shots to his head. “You may have won this match, but you will lose your Chaos Title Belt. Our victory in this match was to hurt the both of you and that we did. See you later in hell boys, DQ’s will not help you now.” Eli laughed as DS Inc exited the stage. Tony helped Jay to his feet and handed him his tag team belt. Tony was also carrying the Chaos Title. Jay reached out for it and Tony hesitated and the tension grew. Tony handed the Title belt to Jay stepped back and motioned around his waist that the belt would soon be his. Tony exited the stage after walking up it and Jay slowly climbed out. Jay was walking slowly and the crowd knew that Jay was hurt.
Towards the end of Heat and just before the PPV Jay was shown in the back with a staff physician. The doctor spoke to Jay, “As a doctor, I do not think you should wrestle later tonight. You have a severe concussion. You could easily collapse at anytime in that match and it would end your career. I am sorry son.”
The doctor exited and a little while later, Alison entered. “Hey Jay, great job on the tag match but you don’t look so hot. Just to let everyone know, I hope Eli gets destroyed tonight and it is too bad you can’t so it. I just heard that you couldn’t wrestle tonight. I am sorry.”
Jay smiled and said, “There is absolutely nothing that is going to stop me from competing in that triple threat match tonight.”
Heat Finished at it was time for WWE VENGENCE
WWE VENGENCE JULY 11th, 2004.
After the fireworks and the first match it was time for the Chaos segment at Vengence. Lougainis and Bronk took their positions at a small table next to the Spanish announcers.
LOUGAINIS: Well folks, it has only been 2 weeks since the double DQ title match. Tonight we will have a clear cut winner because there are no DQ’s. This is a triple threat match and either Jay, Tony or Eli will walk out of here the Chaos Champ. Eli has the clear cut advantage because he is fresh. Tony and Jay defended the tag titles earlier tonight as seen on Heat but it was at great expense. Tony lost quite a bit of blood but seemed to get through it. And I am told that Jay has a severe concussion and has been advised not to wresle tonight. Jay has signed a waiver of liability to compete.
BRONK: Damint Lou! That Jay Taylor is an idiot. He does not stand a chance. My money is on Eli, or maybe Lozon. Well my money sure as hell ain’t on Taylor. His title reign is done. And let’s not forget Eli’s bold prediction.
LOUGAINIS: Earlier tonight folks Eli guaranteed victory. JBL recently did that as did Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. Speaking of Orton, he will face Edge later tonight for the IC Title. Jimenez and Orton had lunch earlier today to discuss their matches and I hear they are both confident.
BRONK: You’re damn right they are confident Lou. Wouldn’t you be if you were a bad assed former Marine.
LOUGAINIS: Hey I was part of the Salvation Army reserve branch here in Kalamazoo. Well, now we take it to the ring with Jeff Fallucca and the introductions.
FALLUCCA: The following match is scheduled for 1 fall and is a no-DQ match. Introducing first in this Triple Threat Match, weighting in at a stiff 205 pounds; he is the GM of the Chaos division, Eli Jimenez.
The entourage called DS Inc. came out of the curtains to a thunderous roar of negativity. Led by Eli, the posse jarred with the fans and Render ripped a Jay Taylor sign in half and threw it back into the crowd. Render and Martus lowered the ropes to let their leader into the ring. The crowd was frustrated that they could not take liberties and attack themselves.
FALLUCCA: Introducing next, from a location unknown, weighing in somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 pounds, he is the Manbeast, Tony Lozon!
ICP popped on and the crazy Man Beast jumped through the curtain. He pounded his fists into his open paws and walked down to the ring. He pointed his huge middle finger into the air and then his pointer to DS Inc. Lozon was getting a mixed reaction from the active crowd.
A staff member backstage walked and knocked on a door that read Jay Taylor. The door opened and Jay Taylor walked out. Alison was seen in the doorway as the door shut with a worried look on her face. Jay walked and climbed the stairs behind the stage.
FALLUCA: And finally, hailing from Chicago Illinois and weighting 238 lbs. Known everywhere in the civilized world; he is the Choas Champion, Jay Taylor!
Taylor walked out, and he was a bit sluggish. He was feeling the effects of the chairshots. The crowd supported him to the ring as he climbed the stairs and entered. All three men look at one another. At the start of the bell, Tony and Taylor charged Eli and forced the GM to slide out of the ring. Tony turned and clocked Taylor to the mat. Jay sprang up and locked up with Tony. Tony pushed Jay backwards but Jay sprang to his feet once again. Tony charged and Jay side stepped and pushed Tony into the corner. Jay fired many shots at Tony as Tony used the corner ropes for support. Jay used the second rope and jumped up kicked Tony across the jaw. Tony dropped to his ass and Jay stomped a mud hole in him. Tony took refuge by rolling to the outside just as Eli slid into the ring.
Eli charged but stopped as Jay turned. The crowd was tense once again as these two men faced off for the first time in history. They locked up and Eli fired a few quick punches to Jay’s skull which dazed Jay. Eli whipped Jay off the ropes and Jay caught himself on the ropes before bounding back. Eli charged and Jay bent over and launched Eli over the top rope and onto a surprised DS Inc. The 3 members outside caught Eli in the air and all tumbled to the ground. Tony slid in and charged. Jay was ready and side-stepped Tony once again, grabbed the back of his head, and helped him through the 2nd ropes where Tony landed square on Martus and Render. The crowd was going crazy.
Jay exited and picked Eli to his feet and lead him up the ramp. Eli and Jay exchanged punches. Jay went to whip Eli into the steel siderails, but Eli reversed it with his quickness and Jay’s back slammed into the walls. Fans were excited to be this close to the action and patted Jay on the head. Jay had a severe concussion and this sparked him to charge Eli. Eli was speared into the metal ramp. Jay fired punch after punch into Eli’s face. Jay then picked up Eli and dragged him to the top of the stage. Eli was quick however and dropped to his knees and hit a shot below the belt. Jay dropped to his knees. Eli charged and super kicked Jay in the face. Jay fell backwards onto his back. Eli helped Jay to his feet and kicked Jay in the side a few times. Eli backed off and slammed his leg into the ground as if to charge. He was going to superkick Jay again, but this time Jay was dangerously close to the edge of the stage. Cables and wires were below a good ten feet. Eli charged and the crowd tightened their sphincters. Jay caught Eli’s foot in the air, spun him around and kicked Eli in the gut. Eli bent over and Jay hoisted him up for the powerbomb. Jay did not however execute the powerbomb, because when Eli was in the air at the peak, Jay launched Eli over the back of his head and Eli fell 17 feet down into the cables and boxes. The crowd yelled, “Holy Shit” over and over. Eli was out.
Jay was woozy as he made his way back to the ring. During the massive turn of events on the stage, Tony was defending himself in the ring against The DS Boys. The two rapscallions had Tony in the far corner. Jay slid into the ring and turned Render around and immediately fired punch after punch. Render then went off the ropes and was flipped over Jay’s head! Tony took advantage of being one on one and locked a bear hug onto Martus and threw him around like a rag doll. Render got to his feet and Jay hit a quick stunner and rolled Render out of the ring. Tony turned, still holding his victim and saw Jay waiting for the bout. Tony launched Martus over the top rope and knocked out Emily.
Jay’s plan was going perfectly. He and Tony were on equal ground. DS Inc was now dealt with for the time being. The Chaos Title match from the Chaos Brawl would end now, here at Vengence. Tony and Jay locked up and the tension and noises in the arena grew. Tony took an early advantage with a series of whoooo clubs to the chest. Jay grabbed Tony and reversed the flow and put Lozon in the corner. Jay hit a few whoo chops himself before Tony reversed it. Tony clubbed away at Jay’s face and Jay was dazed. Tony stepped back for a breath and Jay stumbled out slowly. Tony grabbed Jay and belly to belly suplexed him to the mat. Tony covered for the 2 count and an early kickout. Tony stood up and bounded off the ropes to drop a huge leg, but Jay rolled away and Tony caught canvas. Jay bounded off the ropes and launched a double leg drop at Tony who was now sitting. Tony keeled over. Jay covered and got a 2 count. Tony got to his feet and Jay fired a couple powerful shots. Tony blocked he third one and kicked out at Jay. Jay bent over and Tony hoisted him up on his shoulders and hit a Samoan Drop. Tony bounded off the ropes and connected with the leg drop. Tony covered and at the last possible second, Jay kicked out.
Martus and Render were awake and slid into the ring welding chairs. Jay and Tony were to their feet now not worrying about each other because there were more important threats. Render and Martus both swung their chair at Tony and Jay. What seemed to be almost scripted, Jay and Tony both kicked out and stopped the thrust of the chairs. The chairs fell to the floor and Jay DDT’s Martus into the chair on the ground. Tony picked up Render and “Hulk Hogan/Andre The Giant” body slammed Render on top of the chair. The DS boys rolled out wailing in pain.
Jay and Tony were left again with an even playing field. The crowd was mixed with Jay chants and amazingly, Man Beast chants. They locked up again and Jay quickly spun around and locked his arms partially around the ManBeast’s waist. Jay hit two German suplexes and went for the third. Tony held his ground and backed Jay powerfully into the corner and Jay was smashed. Tony collected his wind and charged Jay. Jay put up the leg and connected with Tony’s jaw. Tony stumbled backwards and turned around. Jay leapt off the second rope and hit a flying bulldog. Tony was planted on his back in the middle of the ring. Jay climbed the top rope and signaled for the Nite Light. Jay flipped off backwards in a perfect moonsault. For the first time in Chaos Division history, Jay connected the Nite Light and the crowd erupted. Jay was hurt a bit much like Rob Van Dam is hurt after the five star frog splash. Jay crawled over and hooked the leg for the pin. Jay pinned and Ziegler counted the 1. Ziegler counted the 2. Render and Martus tried to get into the ring to break it up but they were too wounded, at it was too late. Ziegler’s hand raced down for the 3 and it happened. Lozon kicked out! The crowd was roaring for both men. That was a hell of a false finish Lougainis yelled. Bronk remarked, “damnit Lou, we should have a new champion!”
Jay did not know what to do now. Tony was wounded and Jay brought him to his feet. It was going take a massive finishing move from Jay to end Tony’s championship chances. Tony got to his feet and Jay thrusted his leg into Tony and Tony bent over. Jay turned and went to execute the Stunner. And then it happened. Tony pushed Jay away and off the ropes. Jay bounded back and Tony locked Jay into a massive Bear Hug Finisher! Tony sucked the life out of Jay and the crowd grew in favor of Lozon. Jay’s cheers were exploding also as his fans willed him to get out of the tight grasp of The Manbeast. Jay was fading and was fading quickly. He did suffer a concussion and up to now you would not have known it. Now was the time that the earlier damage had caught up to Jay. Jay looked dazed and was almost out of it. The referee picked up Jay’s right arm, reached it high in the air and dropped it. The crowd and the ref counted 1. The referee did the same and counted the 2. Tony was 1 second and an arm drop away from being the Chaos World Champion. Then folks, it happened, and it happened in miracle fashion.
At the same time that Jay’s arm raced downward, Eli Jimenez slid into the ring and smashed Tony in the face with the chair. Jay’s arm dropped, but he was no longer in Tony’s grasp. The referee waived off the count because Jay had successfully raised his arm before the 3 count. Eli then smacked Jay in the head with the chair. Eli then pinned Jay and the crowd groaned. It couldn’t be. There was no way! Ziegler counted the 1, and the 2 and folks we have a new cham…..no, Jay kicked out! The crowd ignited! Eli rose and grabbed the chair again. Jay was to hit feet and Eli unloaded 5 consecutive chair shots. The first two Jay took in the head the last three he took in the back and was sent over the top rope to the mat outside. Tony was now recovering from his explosive chair shot. Blood streamed down his face. Eli charged and smacked Tony once in the head and once in the back. Tony fell to the mat. Eli covered and got the 1, 2 and the, NO, Lozon kicked out! Eli’s blood pressure reached abnormal heights as he boiled with fury. Eli paced around the ring. Tony got to his feet. Outside the ring, Jay remarkably tried to re-enter, but The DS boys would not allow him. The three men outside battled and Martus was given a stunner. Render was then tossed over the ring barrier to the concrete outside. Jay crawled with everything he had left to the ring side. He used his last amount of strength to hoist himself to a level to look into the ring and tried to climb in, but folks, it was too late. Tony stumbled towards Eli in a daze and Eli hit the J.K.O.! Eli rolled up Tony and used the ropes with his feet for leverage. Emily was to her feet and helped keep Eli’s legs on the ropes. Eli, with a firm hold on The Manbeasts tights for even more leverage, exploded with celebration as Ziegler’s arm hit the mat for the third time.
We have a new champion and that man is the Chaos GM. The crowd yelled with fury and threw many things at DS Inc as the foursome made their way up the ramp. Eli and his wounded comrades screamed with victory. Eli grabbed a mic and said two simple words, “guaranteed victory.”
The List.
