I hope you all have enjoyed reading this story. I had alot of fun writing
it. I hate to see it end, but I *never say never*. When you least expect it
there may be a sequel! Feedback on this chapter might speed up the process!*G*

Brenda woke up in a pool of sweat. Sitting up abruptly, she switched on the
bed side lamp. She let out a slow breath as she stared at the beautiful,
sparkling diamond ring on her left hand. “I was only dreaming that Jax went
back to Sierra” Brenda whispered to herself. “It was only a case of
premarital jitters. Jax and I are getting married at sunrise, and we are
going to live happily ever after” she smiled to herself.

It was only 4:00 am, but Brenda was too wound up to go back to sleep. What
she really wanted to do was go to Jax’s room and crawl into bed with him. It
was very tempting, but Lois would have a fit claiming it’s bad luck for the
groom to see the bride before the wedding.

Brenda sighed and decided to do some sit-ups to ease some of the tension she
was feeling. Brenda wasn’t that nervous about the wedding. Marrying Jax felt
so right. What she was tense about was the dream she had earlier. *Nightmare*
was a more accurate word to describe it. Sierra was out of their lives, yet
Brenda couldn’t help but feel somewhat apprehensive. There was NO way anyone
or anything would stop this wedding from happening, Brenda vowed to herself
as she finished her workout.

Brenda dropped Jax’s shirt on the floor and made her way into the bathroom.
Just as she turned on the water, and started to step into the shower the
phone rang. “Hello” Brenda answered. “Hi my bride to be” Jax said huskily.
“Do I know you” Brenda teased. “Oh you know me alright, and very intimately
I might add” Jax chuckled. Brenda laughed and said “I missed you beside me
last night. I don’t sleep well without you.” “Neither do I” Jax admitted.
“After today, you will never have to miss me again. I’ll be right with you
for better or worse” “Ditto” Brenda replied. “I love you sweetie, and I’ll
see you at sunrise” Jax whispered. “I love you too Jax, and sunrise can’t get
here fast enough for me” Brenda’s voice cracked as she hung up the phone,
and jumped in the shower.

Brenda felt refreshed and relaxed as she watched Lucy and Lois flitting about
her hotel room in an attempt to help her dress. She inhaled deeply, and let
them take complete control of the situation. Besides, it would have been
hopeless to try and intervene.

Brenda critically eyed herself in the full length mirror, and was pleased
with her appearance. The only thing she had managed to be assertive in was
how her hair was styled. She insisted that it be pulled up on the sides with
the rest cascading down her back. Two beautiful pearl combs held up her
hair. Her *something old* from Lucy. She decided against a veil, wanting to
keep the ceremony as informal as possible. Her dress was simple, but elegant.
It was a candelight color that looked striking against her olive complexion.
It had a scoop neckline in which she wore a single thread of pearls. Her
*something new* from Lois. It had three quarter inch sleeves. The dress had
a full skirt that came right above her ankles. Although Jax had selected her
wedding gown, Brenda couldn’t have been more pleased.

There was a knock at the door, and Lois ran to make sure it wasn’t Jax trying
to get a sneak peek at his lovely bride to be. It was Lady Jane and she
gasped when she saw Brenda. “I have never seen a more beautiful vision than
you my dear” Jane whispered to Brenda. “Thank you Mrs. Jacks. I just want you
to know that I love your son very much, and I will try my best to make him
happy.” Brenda said with tears in her eyes.

“I’ve no doubt of that Brenda. There is one thing that bothers me though”
Lady Jane admitted. “What is it” Brenda asked with concern in her voice..
“This Mrs. Jacks nonsense, please call me mom” she laughed as she hugged
Brenda. Brenda giggled, and said “You had me going there for a minute Mrs.,
I mean *mom*.” They all laughed as Lois glanced at her watch and informed
them they had to leave soon.

“Just one quick thing” Lady Jane requested. “Brenda I wanted to give you this
for your *something borrowed*. It’s a lace handkerchief that I wore in my
wedding. “I would be honored to hold it as I walk down the aisle *mom*”
Brenda choked.

“Well, that just leaves the *something blue*” Lucy enthused. Jerry took care
of that for you Brenda” Lucy laughed. He asked me to give it to you as you
would need to slip it on before the ceremony. She held up a blue garter.
“Jerry said he was just looking after his baby brother’s best interests” Lucy
chuckled. Brenda grabbed it from Lucy’s hand and quickly slipped it up to her
upper thigh. I’m going to make Jax work for this” Brenda teased.

Before they left to go to the bluff, Brenda turned to them and said “I just
want to thank all of you for your love and support. I feel that after all
these years, I finally have a family” Brenda said affectionately.

Jerry was laughing uncontrollably as he watched Jax pacing along the sand in
front of the beautifully decorated bluff. The bluff was covered in red,
yellow, white, and peach colored rose petals. Thankfully there wasn’t much of
a breeze so the flowers were staying in place. There was a lattice archway
directly in front that was surrounded by more flowers and greenery.

Jax looked gorgeous in his navy pinstripe suit. “Jax, you swore to me an hour ago that
you weren’t nervous. Look at yourself pacing as though Brenda was in labor or
something. You’re not beginning to have second thoughts are you” Jerry asked
playfully. Jax shot him a dirty look and said “I’ve never been more sure of
anything Jerry. Brenda is my life, and I’m going to do everything in my power
to make her happy. I’m just keyed up, that’s all. I’ve never been married,
and I want to make sure this is perfect for Brenda.” “It will be” Jerry
insisted as he slapped Jax on the back.

There was a trio of musicians that started playing some preliminary pieces.
Jax and Jerry took their places. “From This Moment” resonated across the
beach as Lois and Lucy made their way toward the groom to be. Jerry beamed
as he watched Lucy approach.

Jax had tears in his eyes as Brenda made her way towards him on his father’s
arm. Jax mouthed *I love you* as she took his hand and stood in front of him.
As the preacher read a passage from the bible on love, Jax and Brenda’s eyes
were riveted to the other. The preacher stood back as it was time for the
exchanging of vows. As the sun rose over the horizon, Jax and Brenda
professed their love.

“You are my love, my confidante, my life. With every touch, every glance,
every kiss... I can feel your all consuming love for me Jax. You have shown
me what it means to love and to be loved unconditionally. I have known you
only 33 days, but it feels like a lifetime... and it will be. We will share
our lives together and grow old eventually. I used to be afraid that I would
spend my life alone, but that emotion ceased to exist when I met you. I thank
God every day for bringing you into my life, and I will never take you for
granted. I give myself to you as your wife for now and forever. I love you”

Jax was deeply touched by Brenda’s outpouring of love. He held tightly to her
hand, and stared into her tear filled eyes as he recited his vows of love to
her.

“I never knew the meaning of love and committment until I met you Brenda. I
had a jaded concept of love. I saw you up on that stage asking for a partner,
and I knew immediately that I wanted to be your *partner for life*. We made
an instant connection, and that doesn’t happen often. I kissed you for the
first time on this bluff. We watched the sunrise and shared an unforgettable
moment. The rest of our lives will be the same way...a series of moments that
we will forever treasure. My vow to you is that I will always love and
cherish you for as long as I shall live. I give myself to you as you husband
for now and forever. I love you”.

Brenda had never heard anything more beautiful and heartfelt in her life.
Faint sobs could be heard as Lois, Lady Jane and Lucy were overcome with
emotion. The exchanging of rings was a blur for Brenda. She was so relieved
Sierra hadn't interrupted the wedding. She was also thrilled by Jax’s incredible
declaration of love.

She barely heard the preacher announce them husband and wife. She definitely
felt Jax’s mouth press against hers as he gave her a lingering kiss that left
her breathless. “How do you feel Mrs. Jacks” Jax asked with a twinkle in his
sparkling blue eyes. “I feel more loved than I ever have in my life Mr Jacks”
Brenda beamed. “I know the feeling Mrs. Jacks, it must be contagious” Jax
winked.

They were soon besieged by hugs from their family and friends. Camera flashes
were going off everwhere, and the strains of “Truly, Madly, Deeply” filled
the air. Brenda thanked Jax profusley for the *perfect wedding*, and was
astounded at how incredible the bluff looked. “Only the best for my wife” Jax
teased. Brenda swatted his arm as Jax grabbed her by the waist and kissed her
passionately. “Do you two ever quit” Jerry joked to the newlyweds. “Not if I
can help it” Jax said with conviction.

The wedding party and guests slowly made their way to the pool area of the
*Weston*. It was decorated with a multitude of flowers, and a live band was
performing. It was a beautiful morning for a reception. There was a brunch
set up with an array of delicious foods to choose from. Mimosas were served.
Jax and Brenda had generously opened up the reception to the hotel guests.
They wanted to celebrate their love with everyone.

After their meal, Jax and Brenda served each other cake. Jax was very careful
not to get any on Brenda’s delicate face. He kissed her sweetly, and they
danced afterwards to “I Only Have Eyes for You”. Brenda threw the boquet and
a stunned Lucy caught it. “Want me to reserve a church for you Jerry” Jax
asked playfully.

Jax had a blast slipping Brenda’s garter down her leg. He eyed her
provocatively as his hands slowly ran down her leg with the garter in tow.
Brenda’s breathing quickened, and she wanted to start the wedding night
pronto! Jax shot the garter across the patio, and Jerry casually grabbed it.
“Looks like we’re going to have another family wedding soon” John Jacks
commented to his wife. “It certainly does” Jane replied.

It was a magical day, and Brenda never wanted it to end. It was well past
noon when the reception finally came to an end. Brenda had no idea what was
planned next. Jax had been very secretive about their honeymoon plans. They
changed from their wedding clothes and said their good-byes to family and
friends.

They were driven to the airport in a limo. They took advantage of the time
alone and kissed the whole way there. Once aboard the Jacks jet, their
passion was kicked into overdrive, and the blissful couple consumated their
marriage at 20,000 feet “Wow, Brenda sighed into the comfort of Jax’s arms.
Every time we make love it’s incredible, but that was off the charts!” Jax
chuckled, and said “You’ll get no arguement from me. I think it’s the high
altitude” Jax joked. “Seriously, it’s because we really belong to one
another now...body and soul”.

“You say some of the most inspirational things Mr. Jacks” Brenda whispered as
she kissed her way down his chest. No words were needed as passionate love
was made yet again.

The pilot announced that the plane would be landing in twenty minutes. The
very sated couple had to scramble to get dressed. “Will you tell me now where
we are Jax” Brenda demanded. “I’ll give you a hint. We’ve been here before,
and it changed our lives forever” Jax grinned. “Malibu” Brenda shrieked as
she threw herself into his arms. “I’m so glad you approve” Jax teased. “I
thought it would be appropriate to consumate our marriage here, but that’s a
mute point now.” Jax winked. “You are so right about the appropriate part
Jax. This is where we made love for the first time, and I knew from that
moment I would never let you go” Brenda confessed. Jax nodded and held her
hand as they exited the plane.

The house staff had prepared the house, and fresh flowers gave the rooms a
festive look. “There is no place on earth I would rather spend my honeymoon
than Malibu” Brenda sighed. “I feel the same way” Jax said as he kissed her.

They ate dinner by the pool, and watched the sunset. Jax suggested they take
a walk along the beach. Holding hands and feeling very content they strolled
along the sand. Brenda was amazed that the beach was so deserted. “Did I not
tell you the last time we were here that this beach is private” Jax smiled
wickedly. “Is that a fact” Brenda purred. It was starting to get dark and Jax
reached behind a rock and retrieved two flute glasses, a chilled bottle of champagne
and a blanket.

“Why Mr. Jacks you’ve thought of everything” Brenda exclaimed. “I try” he
grinned. They sat on the blanket as Jax poured the bubbly liquid into the
glasses. “To my beautiful bride. I will love you forever” Jax toasted.
“Here, here” Brenda enthused. They touched glasses and sealed the promise
with a sizzling kiss. Passion was ignited and clothes were discarded. Jax
kissed his way down Brenda’s body, as she moaned softly. They made love
slowly, enjoying the intimacy. They collasped in each others arms in awe of
the incredible moment they had just shared.

“You take me to heights unimaginable every time” Brenda whispered. “I
couldn’t do it without you” Jax said as he kissed her gently. It was a
beautiful star filled evening. I can’t believe karaoke night changed my life
forever, but it did and I will always be grateful” Brenda confessed. “So will
I” Jax said softly. “I love you so much Jax, and I will spend the rest of my
life making you happy” Brenda vowed. Jax pulled Brenda on top of him and
kissed her hungrily. Their lovemaking was intense and erotic. Afterwards they
frolicked in the ocean to cool down.

They made their way back to the house with Jax giving Brenda a piggy back
ride. Their laughter filled the moonlit night as they ran up the stairs to
their bedroom. They slipped under the cool sheets, and into each others arms.
They slept peacefully with dreams full of promise and love.
