Part Forty One

Ally was glad the snow had melted and she was able to wear her loafers. She had borrowed her Dad’s BMW and was zipping through side streets in Boston until she crossed the Charles River into Cambridge. She took the long route so she could point out where she lived with Becky and then parked so they could walk to the pub. They cut through Harvard and she showed him the places where she use to hang out and the lecture halls she spent so much time in. She had to point out the fountain she pushed one of Tom’s friends into when he tried to kiss her. Jax had wrapped his arm around her and she was walking while leaning her head into his shoulder. She found herself wishing she meet Jax there and got lost in thought.

"Ally where to now?"

"Huh?"

"And where was that mind of yours this time?"

"Thinking about what if you had gone to school here instead of Oxford? How we could have been walking together like this all the time arguing about economic theories until someone said Uncle and we’d debate whose tongue was the most daring in a kiss instead of talking."

"Well we know I’d be the first to give up just to shut you up so let’s pretend you just won."Jax said and pulled her into his arms and gave her a deep long French kiss. Ally responded and the kiss deepened and continued until neither one of them could breathe.

"Your tongue won "Ally laughed and gave him a sultry kiss before finally pulling away and tugging on his arm to start walking again.

Jax could see his preppie little Ally as a student here. Her ponytail bobbing as she ran to get into a lecture hall before it closed because she had over slept yet again. Her laughter filling the quad and her smile lighting up the dreariest day. Why the heck didn’t I go to Harvard Business School, he wondered. Ally had stopped and was holding a door open for him.

"Oh thanks wench"

"Welcome to the Pawn Brokers Daughter sweetie"

Jax looked around the cherry wood pub and was amazed at how much it reminded him of the pub he use to frequent at Oxford.

"The juke box is new everything else is the same."She said and stood at the bar. Jax joined her and wrapped his arms around her waist."He’ll have a Kilkenny and I’ll have a Cape Cod"

"A Cape Cod in an Irish Pub? Can only be one woman"Ally heard behind her.

She turned around and gave the man a big hug."Shaun how the heck are you?"

"Just fine and now that my favourite Lassie is here I’m even better."He laughed.

"Shaun I’d like you to meet my fiancee Jax, Jax this is Shaun Kelly owner of the best Pub on this side of the Atlantic."

"Tis a pleasure to meet you Jax. Now you treat this Irish Rose right now or I’ll be coming after you."

"I will, I promise"Jax said and shook his hand.

"Oh Ally an Aussie? And here I thought you might finally be getting yourself a right proper Irish name instead of that horrid Scot one. McComb an Irishman nay"He teased.

"Shaun you saw me Grandfather’s Birth Certificate, County Cork Ireland! Are you ever going to stop trying to tell me I ain’t Irish?"She said in a perfect brogue that stunned Jax.

"There she goes with that brogue better than me own. Justin, Ally and her fiancee are my guests tonight whatever they want is theirs. Now I know what you want Ally how about Jax."

Ally whispered into Shaun’s ear and his face lite up"A man after my own heart, got them in last night actually. I’ll be back."

"What did you just do Al?"

"Ordered you your snack"Ally said with a grin"So what do you think?"

"I can see you here with Shaun fussing over you and Becky. Tell me did the two of you ever pay for a drink? I like it Al, it’s very similar to my pub at Oxford."

"Drinks yes, food never!"Ally laughed.

Justin brought over their drinks and Jax asked what he was drinking again since he really liked it. Ally told him and he committed Kilkenny to memory. Ally saw Shaun coming with two platters and made Jax close his eyes. The platters were put in front of them and Jax was allowed to open his eyes. He noticed Ally’s fries and Mayo and laughed because he finally figured out where she got that strange habit from. He looked down in front of him and a huge grin broke out on his face.

"You ordered me oysters, how sweet Al, especially since I know you hate them."

"Aye these aren’t just any oysters, taste them."

Jax tried one and was amazed that they tasted just like his beloved Donegal Oysters that he had flown in every month from Ireland.

"Those son are the best oysters in the world. My friend ships them to me from Ireland and I get an extra order when this crazy New York Big Shot has them picked up on his private jet and flown into New York. A set is labeled for me and the customs folks same day courier it to me."

"Shaun meet the crazy Big Shot"Ally laughed.

Jax’s mouth fell open, they were his Donegal Oysters and Shaun was the person who he knew benefited from his orders.

"Such a small world, you’ve got excellent taste there Jax me boy"

"So do you Shaun"Jax laughed.

"Neither of you has any taste!"Ally replied.

"I ignore that one but she never goes away"Shaun teased.

"Me too but she’s there every morning in my bed. Shaun you have to sit down and eat these with me."

Shaun sat down and spent an hour talking to Jax about the oysters and various ways to eat and prepare them. Ally was glad Jax got along so well with one of her dear friends but found oyster talk very boring. She finished her fries and went to get another drink. She heard another familiar voice coming from the door and turned to see if she was dreaming.

"It is you Alister"A tall redhead screamed.

"Asy!"Ally squealed in delight and ran to hug her friend.

Jax turned around at the sound of Ally’s squeal to see what she was up to. And saw her swaying side to side locked in a big hug that was threatening to topple them both.

"Oy the two of them together, please tell me you didn’t bring the Beckster with you."Shaun lamented.

"No Becky is at home with her husband. Why? Where the three of them trouble?"Jax asked in amusement.

"They laughed so much we could never hear the football matches and I had to break up more than one fight over competing suitors."

"Slumming again Miss McComb?"

"You know it sis. So what are you up to Asy, you didn’t send me a Christmas card this year. Did you get mine?"

"Al I just got back today, I’ve been in London for the last six months working on my latest book. What are you doing here?"

"Showing my fiancee my old haunts"

"Fiancee? Show me the ring!"

Ally brought her hand up and watched her friend do a double take.

"That isn’t a diamond that’s the iceberg that sunk Titanic!"

"You think this is great, you might just die when you see the man who gave it to me."Ally teased.

Aslynn’s weakness for Blondes was legendary.

"Well then let me meet him"She said anxiously.

Ally brought her over to the table"Jasp this is one of my best friends Aslynn Murphy, Asy this is my fiancee Jasper Jacks"

Aslynn turned white and Ally though she was going to faint. She made her sit down and got a glass of water for her. Ally kept asking her what was wrong but all she could do was stare at Jax in disbelief.

"Fancy a game of darts Jax?"Shaun asked.

"Sure, it looks like they could use some time alone"Jax looked at Ally to ask her what was going on. Ally just shrugged her shoulders and mouthed I don’t have a clue.

"Ok Asy, he’s gone what the heck is wrong. Do you know Jax?"

"He’s really your fiancee?"She whispered.

"Yes , I’ve been living with him since September and we got engaged over Christmas. The wedding is May 27th so don’t go out of town."

"Al, what does he do for a living?"

"He’s a corporate raider and he runs his own company"

"J&J Jacks International?"

"Yeah, so you do know Jax?"

"Know of him. I was just reading an article about him in Fortune Magazine on the plane today.

It said something about him not being very visible anymore on the international or domestic party circuit. That he hadn’t been to one event since August. Speculation was he found himself a steady girlfriend and didn’t care about the social scene anymore. Speculation didn’t know how serious it really was obviously!"

"Nor do we want them to Asy.

"Ok my lips are sealed. Oh to have my lips sealed by a kiss from him. I had a wild fantasy about my friends fiancee not five hours ago."

"Asy no fantasy comes even close to comparing with the real thing."

"Really?"

"Umm hmm, it’s as if our bodies were created for each other. We are better together than any couple I’ve ever read about in a book. The best part though is that he loves me more than anything else in the world and I love him that much too."

"Boy I really have to find myself a man now. You know I think I dated Jax’s brother when I first got to London. Cute, very charming and very obvious but he was great in bed and kept me happy for awhile then disappeared. Jerry Jacks right?"

"Tall, dark hair, flirty green eyes, crooked Cheshire cat grin, Aussie accent, no fore play?"

"Umm hmm"

"That’s Jer alright. We are actually the best of friends and the original playboy has fallen in love with Jax’s assistant and our dearest friend V."

"Jerry’s settled down? Lord I really need a man!"She laughed.

"Am I allowed back yet?"Jax asked.

"Of course darling get that cute butt of yours over here."

Jax slid into the booth beside Ally and wrapped his arms around her as she leaned back into him.

"Asy was just going to tell me about her adventures as an author."

"What’s your last name again Aslynn. I’m wondering if I’ve ever read any of your books."

"Murphy, I write mystery/romances mostly."

"Aslynn Murphy, Aslynn Murphy... wait did you write A Perfect Night For a Murder?"

"You’ve read it!"

"I liked it a lot. I really loved the main character she was such a strong funny woman."

"Well that doesn’t surprise me since her name was Ally and guess who she was modeled after."She laughed.

"See Al, I even fell in love with you on paper."

"I’m just so darn loveable, what can I say"

"I see she still has an ego"Aslynn teased.

"Ally has an ego No way!"Jax said sarcastically.

"Jasper keep it up and I’ll elbow you all night long!"

"From the guest room I don’t think so!"He laughed.

"We are sleeping together I don’t care what my Mom wants. Dad will deal with her if need be."

"Fine with me I hate sleeping without you anyway."

"Awww the two of you are just so sweet I’m getting sick!"Aslynn teased.

"Did you know Jer and Aslynn know each other intimately?"Ally retorted.

"Ally!"She shrieked.

"So you were the hot little author Jer had so much fun with in London."Jax said devilishly.

Aslynn turned scarlet and wondered if a jury would convict her for killing Ally."I will get you back for this Alister, you better sleep with your eyes open for the rest of your life!"

"You’ve got to get through Jax to get to me."

"No, I get you back and Jax is my reward for a job well done"

"Well from everything Jer said about you I’d be more than willing to come to an understanding with you Aslynn. Being double jointed must come in handy."

Aslynn turned red again when she realized Jax wasn’t just teasing that Jerry had really told his brother all.

"Does Jax know about the little affair you had with the Prince of Monaco?"Aslynn asked to make Ally squirm.

"Yes Becky told him the little there was to tell. Nice try though brat"Ally laughed.

"So tell me what an authors life is like Aslynn"Jax said knowing Aslynn wanted to change the subject.

Aslynn told them several stories about dealing with her publishers and the people she had met. As much as Ally was enjoying listening to her she couldn’t stop yawning. She was still feeling the effects of the mono. Jax pulled her hair off her shoulder and kissed her neck gently.

"Time to go sleeping beauty"He whispered.

"Asy we are going to have to call it a night. I’ve been fighting off mono the last few weeks and it’s really draining all my energy. Call me tomorrow and we’ll make plans before I leave."

"Mono again? Geez it must love your body, at least you aren’t stuck in bed for 6 weeks again. I wondered why you were yawning at only 11:30pm. I knew it couldn’t possibly be the company. Sure go home and crawl into bed with this hunk. Nice to meet you Jax, talk to you later."

"Nice to meet you to Aslynn. I’m looking forward to seeing you again."

"See ya later aligator"Ally said and gave Aslynn another big hug. She said good bye to Shaun and they left.

"Your bed or mine?"Jax asked in the car.

"Mine is bigger and longer so you’d be more comfortable in it. Did Jer really tell you about Aslynn?"

"Umm hmm Jer thought her double jointedness was the greatest thing since sliced bread."

The got back to the house quickly and Ally opened the door, set the alarm and headed straight for her room. Jax went in the guest room to get his pajama’s. Ally simply pulled her jeans off and crawled into bed still wearing Jax’s shirt. She was hugging the large teddy bear Jax had moved earlier and was already asleep when Jax entered the room. He wandered over to the bookcase and looked at all the trophies and gold medals she had. He pulled out a few albums from the bottom shelf and sat down at her desk to look at them. Most of them were of Ally as a little girl but he found an album full of pictures of her trip to France with Becky. He came across a picture of her leaning on a marble railing looking out to the sea that he had to have for his office. She was wearing the pale yellow floral dress that she had worn the day she won the beach house from him. A few pages later there was a picture of her with prince Albert in the same place. Jax realized the balcony had to be a the palace. He wondered how a man as intelligent as Albert could have let Ally slip from his grasp. He would have waited for her to be ready for another relationship and focussed all his efforts on pursuing and winning her love. He was glad the Prince wasn’t as driven as him or he’d never would have had the chance to meet and fall in love with her. He put the albums back and joined Ally in bed. He pulled her into his arms, kissed her gently and drifted off to sleep.

Jax woke up at 8am and went to take a shower. He walked out of the guest room dressed as Rachel was leaving her bedroom. She saw Jax and assumed they did sleep in separate rooms.

"Morning Jax, I hope you slept well"

"Very well thank you"

"I suppose Allison is still sleeping"

"Yes, she’s been ordered to get as much rest as possible so I was going to let her sleep for a few more hours."

"Well Alex should be up at nine. You know where the kitchen is, help yourself. Have a nice day."

"You too Mrs. M"Jax said politely.

He went into the kitchen and made himself a pot of coffee and a pot of tea for Ally when she woke up. He found some yogurt in the fridge and made some toast. He went back upstairs and grabbed the rest of Ally’s photo albums. He sat down in the armchair and started flipping through the books while he sipped his coffee.

"Have you ever met anyone as photogenic as Ally?"Alex asked as he stood behind his chair.

"Morning Alex, no I can’t say that I have. Did Ally tell you my partner in Jax cosmetics and I convinced her to save a photo shoot for us. She was fantastic and her face will be gracing magazine pages all across North America as The Silk Fantasy Girl."

"Really? No she didn’t tell me. When will the campaign begin?"

"Jan 31st for the Valentines’s Day market. Vogue, Cosmo all the major fashion and woman’s magazines."

"I’ll keep my eyes open."

"Let me get out of your seat and I’ll go get you a coffee or tea."

"Thanks Jax I drink coffee in the mornings."

Jax came back with the coffee and sat across from Alex on the couch. He continued going through the photo albums and Alex would stop him every so often to point out his favourite pictures. Jax asked him about Ally growing up and Alex asked Jax about his own childhood.

Both of them were at ease with each other and had a good long talk until Alex noticed the time.

"Umm Jax I think it’s time to wake sleeping beauty up. I don’t want her sleeping our day together away."

"Al mentioned you were taking us out for lunch and for your patent tour of the Freedom Trail. It takes her awhile to get going in the mornings, I hope you don’t have reservations"

"Time to get going in the morning? Jax what is wrong with my baby she looked awfully tired yesterday especially after having a nap. Am I going to have a grandchild?"He asked happily.

"I wish Alex. I really can’t wait to be a Daddy but no she’s not pregnant. She didn’t want me to tell you but she’s got mono again. I forced her to stay in bed all last week and she’s a lot better but she still can’t quite just get up and go and needs a good ten hours of sleep a night."

"You spent a week with my sick daughter and she’s still alive? My word you must be a Saint"He laughed.

"Oh I wanted to kill her several times so I just left the penthouse until the urge passed. I truly felt like I was in hell."

"Yes I love her to death but she is the most infuriating, annoying, whinny person alive when she ‘s sick. Last time she had mono Rachel and I couldn’t stand her for another second and took off to Mexico for a week. She was a little more bearable when we returned all tanned and relaxed."

"Well I’m going to go wake her. We should be done in half an hour or so."

Jax climbed the stairs and entered the room. He laid on the bed and started kissing her until she opened her eyes. "Time to get up Al it’s eleven."

"Umm keep me company in the shower"

"Sure I’ll even get in with you."

Good you can wash me and I’ll take a little nap"

"Are you that tired?"

"Umm Hmm"

"I’m sure your Dad would by pass lunch and the tour Al."

"I know he would but I don’t want him to. I’m just not going to be able to go out again tonight that’s all."She said sleepily.

"Ok let’s get to the shower then."Jax had to wait about ten minutes for Ally to get out of bed. As soon as they stepped into the shower Ally closed her eyes and rested her head against his shoulder. Jax did his best to wash her and then rinse her off. He dried her and then gave her a long kiss that finally woke her up. She got dressed and they went downstairs.

"Morning Sweetie, ready to go? I thought we’d go to the WaterRose for lunch"

"Umm Dad sounds perfect you know how much I like their food."

Ally and Jax got in the back of Alex’s car and Ally rested the entire way there.

"Ally wake up we are here."Alex said.

They had a long leisurely lunch and then Alex gave Jax his tour of the Freedom Trail and Market Square. They stopped off at the waterfront and took a tour of the Boston Tea Party ship before heading home at seven. Ally cuddled up to Jax on the couch and fell asleep. Jax carried her up to bed and joined her parents for a light dinner. He played a few games of cribbage with Alex and then said good night. He changed, closed the guest room door and then closed Ally’s door and joined her in bed. She woke up long enough to kiss him and tell him she loved him and drifted back to sleep. Her sleepiness seemed to rub off on him and Jax was quickly asleep himself.

Part Forty Two

Ally spent half of Wednesday looking for a wedding dress with Aslynn. Nothing she saw interested her much to Aslynn's amazement. They picked up Jax and Alex and went for a late lunch before wandering around Faneuil Hall Market Place and Boston Commons. Ally showed Jax where they filmed the exteriors for Cheers and Alex insisted they go in to the

Bull and Finch Bar to have a drink. Ally has never bothered to go in before because she knew it would look nothing like the Cheers set. Afterwards they went up to the top of the Prudential Center to get an overview of the city. Ally wanted to go to the New England Aquarium but Jax convinced her she had done enough for one day. They dropped Aslynn off at home and headed back to the house. Rachel was out so Ally popped in the tape of the Rose Parade and finally watched it with her Dad. They ordered pizza and spent the entire evening talking and joking around. Jax adored Alex and thought of him as a second Dad even though he wasn't very fond of his wife who seemed very cold and detached to him. He was grateful Ally was nothing like her mother and was very similar to her father. Jax told Alex about the Twilight Zone Ballroom and being able to see the entire setting. Alex was a little surprised but he knew at that instant that Jax was meant to be Ally's husband and best friend.

"You know Jax I laughed when Ally told me that God created you just for her, but now I'm inclined to agree with her. You two truly were meant to be together."

"Yup I lucked out big time. I have the two most wonderful, incredible, loving, gentle and funny men in the entire world as my Dad and husband to be."Ally replied and kissed them both.

"I think we are the lucky ones Al, to have you." Jax said softly.

"Stop it you two or I'm going to start to cry. How about a game of Monopoly?"

"And that's my queue to leave. Good night kids see you in the morning."Alex said and headed for the stairs.

"I thought you loved me Daddy!"Ally whined.

"I do dear but not enough to play Monopoly with you." He chuckled.

Jax started laughing and Ally hit him."Your Dad is such a wise man."

"I'm not amused Jasper! Nobody ever wants to play with me!"

"Geez I wonder why?"He said sarcastically.

"Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax"

"It's true Ally, you are a bad sport and no-one likes playing with bad sports."

"Bad sports are people who don't handle losing very well. I never lose so I can't be a bad sport!"

"I give up, I just give up"

"See you upstairs"She laughed and went to surprise Jax.

When Jax came up ten minutes later he was surprised to find she wasn't in her room. He sat down on the bed wondering where she disappeared to. Ally walked into the room wearing her little blue and white Cheerleaders Uniform carrying the matching pom poms.

His eyes turned teal instantly and he wanted her more than life itself.

"Give me a J"She whispered sexily.

"J"

"Give me a A"

"A"

"Give me a S"

"S"

"Give me a P"

"P"

"Give me a kiss"

"Gladly" Jax replied and pulled her onto his lap. Ally tossed the pom poms to the floor and wrapped her legs around his waist. The tender kisses turned erotic quickly. Jax stood up still clutching her and never stopped kissing her as he closed at latched her bedroom door. Ally was whispering into his ear again driving him crazy with desire. He sat back down on the edge of the bed and pulled the sweater over her head.

"Don't you want to hear the rest of the cheer?" She asked devilishly.

"No"Jax moaned and laid down pulling her on top of him.

Ally continued whispering to him and undid his jeans and pulled his boxers off. Between her x rated whispers and her nipples lightly brushing against his chest Jax had lost his mind.

"Ally stop, make love to me I can't handle another second of this erotic torture."

"Sorry but I've only just begun."She whispered sexily and lightly kissed his chest before nibbling on his nipples.

"Alllllllllly"He moaned.

If Jax had been able to see the fiery glow in her eyes he would have known she was going to bring him beyond the brink before she finally gave him what he so desperately wanted.

She was kneeling back in between his legs gently kissing his collar bone and as she moved the little skirt kept brushing against his inner thighs further frustrating him. Ally ignored his moans and pleas and brought his arms over his head and leaned over him. She kissed

him provocatively and turned her attention to the sensitive skin behind his ear gently racking her teeth over it before kissing him again. She started whispering to him again as she drew random patterns along his chest with her finger.

"Do you want me Jasp?"

"Oh God yes"He moaned.

"Then be patient"She said and started kissing her way down his chest then moved down to nibble on his inner thigh. She lightly ran her finger along the length of him.

"You're killing me Al"He said huskily.

"Then I guess you'll die a happy man"She giggled. She knelt up and slowly removed her panties. Thank God, finally, Jax thought. Ally gave him another erotic kiss and ran her hands up and down his body. Jax moaned again and begged her to make love to him.

She kissed him quite for a change and slowly made her way back down his body with light kisses and playful nibbles. She lowered her body and took him into her mouth moving very slowly until Jax couldn't take her teasing for another mil second. He flipped her onto her back and plunged inside of her and began thrusting faster and faster. Ally was quickly in the throws of passion as they moved rhythmically together taking their love making to a level it had never been to before. They both collapsed in exhaustion and Jax held Ally tightly. A variation of a cheer suddenly ran through her mind making her laugh outsold.

"What's so funny ?"He asked.

"2, 4, 6, 8 Jasper Darling you're just great"She sang and burst into laughter again.

Jax stopped playing with her hair for a second and shook his head. "You're getting that over tired giddiness again silly. Time for you to go to sleep."

"You make me giddy. Feel like going another round?"She asked and rolled on top of him.

"Are you sure you're up to it?"He asked.

"Umm hmm" She replied and started kissing him again.

After they made love for a second time and rested for a little bit Ally got up and put her robe on and tossed Jax his. "Follow me"She said and took his hand. She lead him downstairs to her Mother's solarium.

"Umm Al what are we doing down here?"

"What do you think of my Mom's grand piano? Dad bought it for their 25th anniversary. "

"It's very nice but why are you showing me it at 2am?"

"Well I thought we could do a duet."

"We'll wake up your parents."

"Maybe, but that's not the type of duet I had in mind."She replied and pulled on the belt of his robe and pushed the robe of his broad shoulders.

"Ally?"He asked in amusement and amazement.

"What?"She said sweetly and dropped her own robe and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"The floor?"

"No the top of the piano"

"Another one of your fantasies?"

"Umm hmm"

"Well since I did promise to make all your dreams and fantasies come true..."He lifted her up on the piano and joined her.

"Play me Jasper"She said softly and Jax happily obliged her.

Making love on the piano proved to be a challenge and Jax almost fell off twice. Ally kept moving her arms behind her head and kept hitting the same keys. She was beyond

caring if her parents heard them. They had both drifted off to sleep in each others arms.

Jax's long legs hung over the end of the piano and the sun was streaming onto the room casting a warm glow on them. Jax shifted in his sleep and whacked several piano keys waking Ally up. She raised her head to look at Jax and the sunlight had formed a halo around his head. My perfect angel, she thought and kissed him softly. She heard the clicking of the automatic coffee maker and wondered why it was going off so early.

She looked at Jax's watch and realized it was 8:30 am and knew her mother would be down shortly. The door was open and the thought of letting her mother discover them on her precious piano was very appealing. She snuggled back up to Jax and closed her eyes.

Then the image of her mother having a heart attack popped into her mind and she kissed Jax awake.

"Morning, that was some concerto we played this morning."

"Yes we both gave very inspiring performances, but unless we want an audience I suggest we move the encore back up to my room."

"I'm moving as soon as you get off me wench"

Ally untangled herself and slid off the piano and put her robe back on and handed Jax his.

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionately.

"Coffee's ready do you want some?"

"Sure"

Ally came back a few minutes later carrying a tray with two mugs of coffee, some toasted English muffins, marmalade and two banana, strawberry yogurts.

"You're going to eat bacteria?"He asked in disbelief.

"The banana hides the bacteria taste"She answered and straddled the piano bench setting the tray down on the piano top.

Jax straddled the bench facing her letting his knees meet with hers. After taking a few sips of coffee Ally opened one of the yogurts, ate a spoonful and then brought another spoonful up to Jax's mouth. Jax accepted it and a tiny bit dribbled down his chin and Ally kissed it away not thinking about what she had just started. She ate an English muffin and Jax brought a huge spoonful up to her parted lips and let her eat half of it before he inverted the spoon and it fell on to her chest. Jax erased it with his tongue. Ally still hadn't clued into Jax's intentions and spread a thick layer of marmalade on another English muffin. She ate half of it and offered the rest to Jax. He ran his finger over it and transferred the marmalade to her lips and kissed it off. Ally watched his eyes turn teal again and cloud with desire.

"Oh you want to play with your food again."She said softly.

Jax just grinned seductively and dipped his fingers in the marmalade and made a trail from her lips to her chin, down her throat to the valley between her breasts. He slowly kissed and licked the marmalade away. He kissed her hungrily and undid the sash on her robe so he could have full access to her body. They had both completely forgot about her parents.

Jax smeared some cold yogurt on her nipples causing them to harden immediately and she gasped at the sensation. He teased one nipple with his tongue before taking it in his mouth and gently sucking and nibbling on it. When Ally moaned he turned his attention to her other breast and nipple. "Busted"He whispered and Ally couldn't stop herself from giggling.

"You think this is funny?"She roared.

"No Mom, I don't think this is funny."She said trying to stop giggling.

"Mrs. McComb this is really all my fault not Ally's"

"I am not talking to you Mr. Jacks"She said icily.

"Mother we didn't mean for this to happen. We just tend to get carried away and forget our surroundings. I'm sorry."

"You're sorry? Sorry is just not going to cut it this time Allison. I'm appalled by your behaviour. I did not raise you to act like a whore. I..."

"Mrs. McComb, you might be Ally's mother but I will not permit anyone to call her such a vicious, horrid name. Do I make myself clear?"Jax said with a steely glare that scared Rachel. Ally couldn't believe how mad Jax was. V had told her that Jax was very good at controlled anger but he was very scary when he was that mad. Ally had never seen her corporate viper in action before. The look he was giving her mother gave her chills. Jax wrapped his arms around her protectively and gave her Mother a look that said if you dare to hurt her I will eat you alive.

"I think you two should leave now. I'll tell your Father Jax was called away on business."

"No way Mother. You are not running me out of my own house. We are staying here until Sunday. If you don't like it, I think you should go stay with one of your Bridge friends."

"Well then I shall tell your Father and he can ask you to leave. He will be none to pleased."

"Mother if you insist on dragging Daddy into this you are the one who will lose not me. I guarantee it. I've apologized and I will overlook what you called me, now let this be."

"No I will not leave this alone. I'm ashamed that you are my daughter. Once again you've thought of no one but yourself. You are a spoiled, selfish, willful, ungrateful brat and I've had it with you."

Jax took one look at Ally and knew she was about to explode. He tightened his hold on her and gave her a little squeeze."Ally just go get dressed"He whispered.

"No!"

"Ally you know your Dad would want you to bite your tongue."

Ally knew Jax was right and solely for her Dad's sake she took a deep breath and tried to walk away. Rachel grabbed her arm and pulled her back into the room.

"Where do you think you are going? I'm not through with you yet. You'll leave when I tell you to."Rachel said loudly.

Oh boy, here it comes, Jax thought. "Mother I'm leaving before I say something that will upset Daddy."Ally said and tried leaving again but Rachel wrenched her arm. It really hurt and Ally was losing her temper quickly.

"I said I'm not finished with you are you deaf too."She spat.

"Fine then I'm finishing this Mommy dearest. You act like we've committed some heinous crime. When in reality all we are is just an engaged couple madly in love, who can't keep their hands off each other. I'm sorry we forgot our surroundings but it happens sometimes between two people in love. Has it really been that long since you were young? Grandma told me about you and Dad and the Farm house eons ago! And if anyone in this room is selfish it's you not me. All you care about is what your stupid, stuck up, worthless, gossip mongering Bridge friend's will think of you. I don't plan on telling them what happened so the only way they'd know is if you told them. Now if you don't want to accept my apologies that's your problem not mine. Now I'm going to go take a shower. Come on Jasp, we'll finish breakfast upstairs." Ally said tersely and blew past her mother.

Once they were upstairs Jax tried to apologize for getting her into so much trouble.

"Jax it's not your fault. I was enjoying every second of it. Don't even give it another thought."She said and kissed him gently."Come on, come have a shower with me."

"Umm Ally I don't think that is a wise idea."

"Jax she's already convinced I'm a harlot so who cares what she thinks. Besides I need a good massage and some kisses to wash the tension away."

Ally had just finished drying her hair and was sitting on Jax's lap kissing his neck when her Dad walked into her room. Rachel had told him some far fetched story about Ally and Jax making love in the solarium that he found hard to believe. He was sure Rachel was over reacting again and couldn't believe Ally would attack her mother. He knew he'd get the whole truth for his daughter.

"Ally?"

Ally turned around and grinned at her Dad"Oh hi Daddy"

"Ally please tell me you and Jax weren't making love in your mother's solarium an hour or so ago."

Ally was glad he put a time on it so she didn't have to think about lying"No Dad we were just messing around. We got carried away big time to tell the truth but we were not doing it."

"I see. Couldn't you have closed the door? You know what your mother is like"

"Dad we were having breakfast and Jax got a little carried away and I let him. We didn't plan on making out it just happened."

"I'd like you to apologize to your mother"

"Dad I've apologized four times she does'nt want to accept it. Did she tell you she ordered us to leave?"

"No, she told you to go home?"Alex was starting to realize that Rachel was turning a mole hill into a mountain and didn't like it one bit.

"Yes she said we should leave and she'd tell you Jax was called away on business."

Ally wasn't going to mention her mothers actions but since she had no quams about trying to get her in trouble she was going to turn the tables and tell all.

"You don't plan on leaving do you?"

"No and I told her she wasn't going to run me out of my own house. I tried to just walk away twice because I know that's what you'd want me to do even though I wanted to kill her but she pulled me back twice and she really wrenched my arm good the second time. It's still hurting."

Alex examined his daughter's arm and found a large red mark around her wrist. She's not getting mad she's getting even big time,Jax thought.

"My poor baby I guess that's when you called her selfish?"

"Yes I told her that if anyone was selfish it was her because all she ever thinks about is how her friends will react. I was quite civil considering what she callled me." You're going down Mom, Ally thought. You'll never call me that name again.

"What did she call you Al?"Alex asked getting more irritated with his wife by the second.

"Never mind Dad, It's not important, suffice to say it wasn't nice at all."

Geez she's good. She's milking this like there is no tommorow, Jax thought.

"Al what did she call you?"

"Dad Jax put her in her place I'm sure she'll never call me that again out of fear of him."

Fearful of Jax, goodness what did she say to obviously infuriate Jax."Jax what did Rachel call Ally?"

"Excuse my language but she called her own daughter a whore."

Alex's eyes widened and he started to get very anger at Rachel. Of all things to call thier daughter this one was the most offensive and he wasn't going to let her get away with it. He was certain Ally would have never mentioned any of this to him. In trying to get him to take sides against his daughter Rachel dug her own grave he thought."Well don't worry about your mother Ally I will deal with her. Put some ice on that wrist so it doesn't swell. Now I know the truth atleast. I've got a meeting to go to. I should be back by one. Oh son, if the urge to snack on my daughter is just too overwhealming again bring her up here please and close the door."Alex chuckled.

Jax turned a deep scarlet that made Ally and Alex both laugh."Ok I promise Alex. Sorry about all this trouble it really was my fault not Al's"

"No apology need Jax. I was young once too although what I loved about Rachel escapes me at the moment. I do remember what it's like. Have a good morning kids"

"Bye Daddy and thanks for being rational."

"Yada, yada, yada brat"He said sarcastically and grinned.

"Hey your Dad stole my line!"Jax complained.

"Sorry dear but he's been yadaing me for years."Ally laughed.

"Geez remind me to never get you that mad. You certainly go for the jugular."

"No one calls me a whore and gets away with it. When she said that I wanted to slap her so hard she'd never feel the end of it. But justice can be oh so sweet sometimes and violence isn't the answer. My Dad's wrath is going to be so much better. She's going to find out I'm untouchable. You know what my Mom said that first day is true. I can do no wrong in my father's eye. The sun does rise and set in my eyes and she's been jealous of me all my life. Don't be surprised if she isn't here for the rest of the week."

"So you're Dad has always taken your side?"

"Yup pretty much. A few times he's agreed with her but he always believes me over her. I could tell him an out right lie and he'd still believe me. That's why I never lie to him because his trust means to much to me. Oh thank you for sticking up for me, that was so knight in shinning amour of you Sir Jasper. I've never seen you look so deadly serious. You scared the hell out of her and gave me the chills."

"I'm talented too. Never lie to him? I love the way you didn't say we had made love in the solarium."He laughed.

"I didn't lie though, he said in the last hour or so. We were'nt making love when she walked in. Had he not given me a time frame I would have said no at the time Mom walked in we weren't making love. He would have known we had at some point but he'd let it slid. Hey about we go skating for awhile, I'll show you around Boston College and we can get a late breakfast since we never finished it. We should get back around the same time as my Dad."

"Sure sweetie I need to get rid of all this excess energy I have anyway."

They had a great time skating and wondering around the Boston College Campus. On the way back to the house Ally spotted a sign for a physic and dragged Jax inside. The lady told them the would have a long happy live together, have 2 children then a third one several years later. She said Ally would be changing jobs and Jax would be torn about a major business move. Yeah if I'll relocate to LA to make Ally happy, he thought. She said there would be two bumps on the way to the wedding chapel but the wedding would go off without a hitch on the day. She told Ally she had the feeling that she'd open a magazine one day and see her in it. Ally was amazed and told her about the modeling shoot. Jax was impressed and started to rethink his position on physic abilities. Lucy would be proud of him. As they were leaving she pulled Jax aside and warned him that tragedy was going to strike and it would completely devestate Ally. She said it couldn't be avoided and he'd have to be a rock for her. Jax hoped she was wrong because if they were going to have a long life together it had to be something that would happen to her Dad, Liz or Becky. He put the thought out of his mind so Ally wouldn't think something was troubling him and ask about it. When they got back Ally's mom was gone but had left a note apologizing to Ally and Jax. Ally let out a satisfied little laugh and wondered what her Dad must have said to her.

"Well either she's never going to speak to me again or she'll start acting like a mother again."

"Let's hope it's choice two. Thank goodness you love Lady Jane so much."

"Yup she can be mother of the bride and groom if need be."Ally laughed.

Ally and Jax had both fallen asleep on the couch watching TV when Alex came in. He let them sleep for a while and went to change and have lunch. He woke them up and suggested they go visit Salem since Jax had never been there before and they visited Plymouth and the Plymouth Rock. Ally had to listen to her father's tired Mayflower joke for the thousandth time.

"Jax if April showers bring May flowers what do May flowers bring.?" He asked. Ally groaned but Jax didn't realize he was being set up for a joke.

"I don't know June bugs?"

"No silly they bring Pilgrams"Alex laughed.

Jax had actually never heard that joke before so he laughed and they spent the rest of the day driving Ally insane telling her jokes.

Part Forty Three

A few days after they had returned from Boston, Lois and Brook Lynn finally came over for dinner. Ally adored both Lois and Brook Lynn and they had a wonderful fun filled dinner. Jax gave Brook Lynn diamond earrings as promised and she was so thrilled that she refused to leave his lap all evening. Ally had a great time listening to all of Lois' Jax stories and the time just slipped away from them. At midnight Jax convinced Brook Lynn to go lay down and went to tell her a bed time story. The girls never noticed Jax didn't come back to them. They both started yawning at 3am and decided to call it a night. They found Jax asleep at the foot of the bed and Brook Lynn was resting her feet on him.

"Shhhhs Mommy Unca Jax is sleeping. He fell asleep in the middle of the story."

"So I see, time for you to go to bed, kiss Jax goodnight and we are going"

Lois picked her daughter up and let her give Jax a light kiss."Bye Aunty Ally, I like you lots."

"Thanks Brookie I like you lots too."Ally said and kissed her forehead.

"Don't forget lunch next week Al."

"I won't Lois, see ya then and drive safely."

"Bye girlfriend"Lois said and walked out the door.

Ally woke Jax up but he was too tired to move. He pulled Ally down on the bed and wrapped his arms around her tightly. He mumbled night and was back asleep again.

Ally was trying to stay awake at work the next afternoon when Paula walked in.

"Why didn't you tell me you were moonlighting as a super model?"

"Huh?"

"You're picture is featured on a two page spread in Vogue. You look incredible my dear."

"What?"

"The Silk Fantasy Girl? It is you isn't it?"

"Oh my I forgot all about that. Can I see it?"

"Sure, wow this is going to sell lots of lipsticks and perfumes for Jax."

Ally stared at her image on the page. The left side was a full page picture of Ally looking very sexy giving the camera a sultry seductive smile. The print on the right page read: She's in his every fantasy and dream. Jax Cosmetics proudly introduces a new line of cosmetics and fragrances. Silk Fantasy will leave you on his mind. At the bottom was a picture of Jax kissing Ally's neck.

"Wow it came out great, I can't believe how blue my eyes are. I love the picture of Jax and I but he's going to freak."

"How did they convince Jax to pose in the first place?"

"They didn't. I was mega tense and scared to death so Jax sat down on the bed to relax me. He told me to picture just us at the beach house and he started kissing me. The photographer just started clicking away. I love it but Jax is going to kill Lucy for publishing a private intimate moment between us."

"Look at the way Jax's arm is draped around your shoulder and his other hand is underneath the silk pajama top. You look like your in ecstasy, a very hot shot indeed."

"I was"Ally replied.

"Well I like this even better than the face you'll never forget campaign and you are much prettier than that girl."

"Thanks Paula, that girl was Jax's former fiancee."

"Well I'm glad he waited to find the real thing in you."

"Oh Paula, that's so sweet thank you."

"You're welcome sweetie, feel like coming down to Macy's with me?"

"Sure why not I'm just sitting here trying to stay awake anyway.'"

"Ah too much fantasy action last night eh!"Paula teased.

"Paula! No a friend of Jax's came over for dinner last night and we stayed up talking until 3am."

"Sure Ally. I almost believe you"

"Just for that you're buying one of everything Paula"Ally laughed.

Ally froze when she reached the cosmetic section. There were large posters of her all around the Jax section. In total about 8 other shots were used.

"Wow Ally they are all incredible. I think my favourite one is that one"Paula said pointing at a picture of Ally sitting cross legged on the bed smiling sweetly.

"That's Jax's fav too, he's got it framed on his desk"

"So you've seen all of these before"

"No just the ones of Jax and I and that one Lucy sent to Jax."

"So what does the perfume smell like?"'

"I've never smelled it before."

"Well I suggest you do what if you're selling a perfume you can't stand."

"You've got a point there Paula."

Ally walked over to the counter and picked up the deep blue bottle and sprayed some on her wrists and waited a minute for the fragrance to settle. She lowered her nose to her wrist and was surprised at the scent.

"Well?"Paula asked?

"I've never smelt anything like it before. I can detect vanilla, cinnamon and jasmine. What an odd combination yet it smells wonderful, sort of sweet and spicy. What do you think?"Ally asked and put her arm under Paula's nose.

"Smells heavenly on you my dear, let's see if it suits me."Paula waited a moment and smelt her own wrist."Smells quite different on me but I like it."

Ally picked up her arm and checked for herself."Hey yeah it's very spicy smelling on you and I can detect orange now too."

"That's what I smell. How did you get such a nose for scents?"

"When Becky and I were in the South of France we spent a day at a perfume factory in Eze and we spent most of the time trying to distinguish scents from the pure extracts and the factory's nose tested us on the scents in combination and taught us both alot. I'm very good at picking out most of the scent bases of any perfume."

"Wow if you ever get tired of the travel business you can go work for Jax Cosmetics as their perfume creator."Paula laughed.

"Hello ladies this is the new product line of Jax Cosmetics called Silk Fantasy. Allow me to show you the entire line. Are you familiar with Jax Cosmetics?"The sales girl asked.

Ally chuckled and Paula couldn't resist saying something"I'd say so considering she's not only the model but marrying Jax to boot."

"Paula"Ally said through clenched teeth. Great our secret is revealed to a sales girl in Macy's she thought.

The girl studied Ally for a second"Oh my I'm so sorry, you are the Silk Fantasy girl. They neglected to tell me you'd be doing an in store promotion."

"I'm not I just happened to be in the store and my friend here dragged me over."Ally said and shot Paula a look that said keep quiet.

"Oh well it's a pleasure to meet you. Those pictures are just gorgeous, could you autograph this for me?"She asked and handed Ally a scent card with her picture on it and a pen.

Ally signed the card and chatted with the girl while Paula looked at the rest of the line.

"Al the eye shadow and blush feel like silk tell Jax it's a ingenious idea."

"Sure but he really has nothing to do with it. Lucy runs everything, Jax just ok's finance to give her whatever money she needs."

"Well then tell Lucy, I don't mind having to buy one of everything now."Paula laughed.

"And I'll take a bottle of the perfume not the eau de. Think I'll go surprise Jax later"

"I think we should go find something slinky and silky then."Paula said.

"Jasper would definitely approve of that."Ally laughed.

"Excuse me Miss but when will we be landing?"Julia asked.

"We should be landing in New York in an hour. Would you like to look at the latest copy of Vogue?" The stewardess asked.

"Sure why not, I can see how behind I am in the latest trends."Julia laughed.

She started flipping thorough the magazine aimlessly until her eye happened to catch Jax Cosmetics on a page. She looked at the advertisement and was quite taken by the beauty of the model.

Wish I looked like that she thought and then her eye caught the picture of Jax kissing the models neck. Hmm Lucy must have blackmailed you big time for you to pose. Lucky girl she said to the picture.

Meanwhile V had just spotted the ad in Cosmo and started grinning wickedly when she saw Jax's picture. Oh boy am I ever going to have some fun with this she thought. She put the magazine behind her back and walked into Jax's office.

"Yeah V what is it?"

"Can I have your autograph?"She asked with a wicked gleam.

"Sure but what did I forget to sign this time?"

"Make it out to me and write To my darling V you were the true inspiration behind Silk Fantasy. Love Jax"She said with a wicked grin.

"V what in tarnation are you talking about?"

"Wow he's not just a pretty face. He can use big words like tarnation."She giggled.

"Venus spill it before I put you over my knee and spank you hard."

"Is that how Lucy talked you into it"She laughed.

Jax looked at V and decided she was far to amused by something that he had a feeling he didn't know anything about. He jumped out of his chair and grabbed her waist causing the magazine to fall.

"Shouldn't we be sitting down if you want to recreate the picture?"She asked.

"What picture V? Start making sense before I hurt you."Jax said in exasperation. V just started grinning and handed him the magazine.

"Another one of you and Ally's stupid quizzes I presume."

"No the Silk Fantasy campaign is very intriguing and quite intimate."She said with a smirk.

Jax flipped through the magazine until he found Ally staring back at him with that sultry little smile."God she looks gorgeous, the ad came out great."

"Look at the whole thing neck boy"V teased.

Jax suddenly spotted the other picture and turned a deep red. V could see the veins in his neck throbbing and stepped back so he wouldn't roar right into her face.

"And exactly where was that other hand of yours young man?"She asked.

Jax turned away from V and grabbed his phone. He dialed a number quickly and got an answering machine."Consider yourself fired Lucy effective immediately"He yelled and slammed the phone down.

"But she just opened a whole new career for you stud"V laughed.

"V I'm not amused! How dare she use a private moment between us to sell stuff. Now everyone will be teasing me and asking questions and we are trying to keep the wedding a secret. And who told Tom to take the pictures in the first place. He's never going to work again."

"Calm down Jax it's a really cute and sweet picture and besides you've given thousands of women something to dream about."She said and kissed him on the neck playfully.

"V I suggest you leave before I take this all out on you"

"Geez the cute ones always have such attitude"She laughed and ducked out of the door just as Jax sent a pillow flying at her head. He could hear her laughing at her desk.

Two hours later Julia was standing at V's desk waiting for her to turn around. She cleared her throat and V turned.

"Oh Miss Barrett I didn't know you had an appointment with Jax."

"I don't V but can I see him?"

"I should warn you he's in a foul mood."

"So Lucy didn't have permission to use that picture?"

"No she knew he'd never agree so she just used it. I 've been teasing Jax about his stud status all day long and he's about to have me tarred and feathered. Just go on in and watch for flying pillows."V laughed.

Julia slowly opened the door and saw that Jax was standing at the window looking out.

"Don't jump Jax it will ruin your face and career"She said lightly.

Jax turned around with a scowl and his face that softened when he saw his tormentor.

"Jules I see you've seen the blasted ad too"

"Sure they're talking about it on the radio and the Wall Street Journal has you on the front page. You sexy stud you."She teased.

"Very funny brat"Jax replied and gave her a big hug and a kiss."So what brings you to the Big Apple?"

"Thought you could use a good agent. Think I can get you in Playgirl's next issue."She laughed.

"Hmm how stable is Barrett Industries these days?"He teased back.

"Ok I'll stop for a little bit. I had some business to take care of and you did say to drop by when I was in town. Still have that extra bedroom?"

"Yes I do and you're welcome to it. You've seen Ally now you can meet her."

"I've seen her?"

"Yeah who do you think I'm making out with in the picture. She was nervous and I was relaxing her and Tom started shooting."

"Another model Jax? Thought you learnt your lesson with my sister."

"Ally's a travel agent Jules. Our model got sick and Lucy and I talked Ally into posing, that's why she was so nervous."

"Oh well she certainly has everything it takes to be a super model."

"Yeah she is gorgeous on the outside and she's got a body that just won't quit but inside she's the most beautiful women I've ever met and that's why I love her so much."Jax said and ran his left hand through his hair.

Julia noticed a shiny object on his finger and reached for his hand."Jax why the heck didn't you tell me you were married?"

"Because I'm not yet. Ally gave me this on Christmas Morning when she proposed to me. The weddings May 27th, think you can make it?"

"That's less than 4 months from now! Yet I haven't heard a word about it on the news or the society columns."

"No it's going to be a very small wedding only 100 guests or less and neither of us wanted any publicity so we've kept the engagement a secret."

"Wow congratulations and of course I'll be there Jax. I'm so happy for you."Julia said and gave him a big hug.

"Thanks Jules, have you heard anything from Brenda since she disappeared off the face of the earth?"

"Why Jax?"She asked carefully.

"Well she was always my friend I just wonder if she's safe that's all."

"Jax we need to talk but can I use your bathroom first."

"Sure Jules you know where it is."

Julia got up and headed to his private bathroom closing the door. Ok Jules what are we going to tell Jax she said to her reflection.

Ally didn't see V at her desk so she just walked into Jax's office."Hi there gorgeous"She said softly.

"Hey if it isn't my favourite super model"Jax said with a grin.

"Yeah thought we could have our own little silk fantasy right now"Ally said seductively and dropped her winter coat to reveal a very thin little dusty violet silk dress that was mostly just thin straps. The material was so thin that Jax could clearly see her nipples and he looked at her with pure desire burning in his eyes. "Umm dear why didn't you tell me you were in a meeting."

"I didn't have a chance then I saw that dress and just lost my mind. Julia I'd like you to met Ally. Al this is Julia Barrett."

Ally turned around to shake her hand and Julia's jaw momentarily dropped when she caught sight of Ally in the dress. Jax wasn't kidding when he said she had a wicked body and she's showing most of it off now, she thought.

Oh boy you picked the wrong woman to mess with Bren, Julia thought."Well since she's my sister I don't want to see her harmed but I do agree that she treated Jax horribly and I've never forgiven her for it."

"Well I guess I should let you two get back to your meeting. Jasper I'll be waiting for you at home to finish our little chat."Ally said with a look that let him know she had no intention of chatting.

"Well umm I sort of invited Jules to stay with us Al."Jax said regretting the offer.

"Oh then I guess I'll see you both at home."Ally said clearly disappointed.

"Actually I've got to run, Jax we can finish this tomorrow. I'll pop back at say 5:30 ."

"Sure we should be finished by then."Jax said and opened the office door for her.

"See you later."Ally said.

"Yes and you look fantastic in that ad Ally."

"Thanks."

Jax closed his office door and locked it. He pulled her back into his arms."Now where were we again?"He asked as he started kissing all around her mouth. Ally just grinned and undid the rest of his shirt buttons and started planting erotic kisses on his chest.

"I think I need to cool you down love"Jax said wickedly and went over to the bar and took a large ice cube out of it's container. He put it in between his lips and pulled the thin straps off her shoulder and the dress hit the floor. Jax wasn't expecting Ally to be completely naked. "Promise me you'll never stop dropping by my office to discuss things."

Jax picked her and the shopping bag up and brought them into the bedroom and closed the door.
