(1) Try thinking logicly before you assume ufo, ghost, demon, or bigfoot. Use common sense like if you see and think it's a ufo, watch for landing gear or shape to make sure its not an airplane or helicopter.
(2) When ghosting hunting have respect for the dead. If you are in a cemetery, dont trot all over peoples graves and run around like a jackass, take things seriously and act professional.
(3) Regarding oujia boards: dont use them to contact ghosts! half the time if it does work you could get more than you bargained for. And ghosthunters dont try to catch ghosts which brings me to #4
(4)Ghosthunters are not ghostbusters. Ghosthunters do not strap on nuclear accelerators and run around shooting marshmallow men or gods. We use scientific equipment such as EMF detectors, Thermometers, and infrared cameras. another note to using EMF detectors, after it goes off, look for a logical source of disturbance, like exposed wires.
(5) If you start a ghosthunting/paranormal research group, DONT CALL YOURSELVES THE WHAT EVER GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!. (see #4) it will get you laughed at, and no one will take you seriously.
(6) He slimed me. I am sorry to say you wont get slimed. It is very rare to see a full body apparition so the chances you see one and he slimes you is pretty darn slim. And to my knowledge no on has gotten slimed out side a movie set.
(7) Skeptics. Ok this is obvious, be prepared to be laughed at. people will laugh at your beliefs and ridicule you for it, so be prepared. This is also a good reason to act professional (see (2) ) if you act professional at least they will see you take it seriously.
(8) Dark clothing. Don't wear all dark clothing because it looks suspicious especialy at night time.
(9) Permission. No matter what, always have permission to investigate and get it written on paper that you have permission to do what your doing. |
