Planeshift will be the first coming expansion set
from the invasion cycle. Little is known about the edition, but yet we
already have a card from the edition, an art for a card named: "lord of
the undead" and the release date, which is 05-02-2001. There are rumors
that these set, will have lands which produce three different kind of
mana. Also there will be some new abilities. It are just rumors, 
but
it can be something like creatures reducing spell costs and an ability to
reduce a casting cost by taking cards you
control from the game to your hand. But that are just rumors, here some facts. This is the card, a very good one,
named Meddling Mage. Also you can find some arts from some cards here. At the right is

A special word about two cards, which shall be rare and shall be legends. At first Ertai, the Corrupted
Ertai is the first character of the Magic storyline, which has two cards. In Exodus he already appeared. Now that he has been altered
by the Phyrexians (Story here)
Another word for Tahngarth. Tahngarth is a member of the Weatherlight crew and a very proud
person. His appearance as legend could be a bad sign. Most of the legends are made cards of, if they die in that set. For example: Mirri died in the Exodus storyline and in Exodus there was a Mirri card. Other names who died in the set, where they
appeared are: Rayne, Volrath, Hanna, Vhati, Maraxus, Selenia, Radiant and Ertai (although not killed, changed from good to bad). As always there are exceptions, so you
won't know if Tahngarth will die in Planeshift, but it can be so.
