Mercadian Masques |
< | After the adventure in Rath, the crew of the Weatherlight crashes on a
new plane |
 | The crew is immediatly attacked by unknown people, called the: "Cho-Arrim", who take the weatherlight and Orim |
 | The Cho-Arrim have captured Orim. She learns
more about her captors and begins to feel attracted to Cho-Manno,
the spiritual leader of the Cho-Arrim. The Cho-Arrim are people who
suffer under the Mercadians. They wait for the return of Ramos, a
sky-god, which will come back to free them from the
Mercadians |
 | The rest of the crew are arrested by the
Mercadians and must follow them to Mercadia. Mercadia is a twisted
city, which is immidiatly noticeable |
 | Mercadia has one leader, the magistrate, who
rules the city from his strange tower in the center of the
city |
 | In fact the city is ruled by the Kyrens, a
goblin race, which is smart, but cowardly. The have complete control
of the magistrate, so they have also control over Mercadia |
 | Finnaly the magistrate comes with a deal. If
they reclaim the Weatherlight, they may leave Mercadia. Therefore he
gets soldiers and Cateran mercenaries under his command. |
 | He trains them well and they begin to look like
real soldiers |
 | The Cateran mercenaries are another kind of
people. They're thieves and murderers. They rule the world in
Mercadia by night. |
 | As he marches to Cho-Arrim territory, they retake the Weatherlight
and find Orim again. |
 | But the Caterans start to slaughter the
Cho-Arrim people. Gerrard commands the Mercadian soldiers to stop
the Caterans. It works, but now he's again under arrest, because he
turned Mercadian soldiers against eachother. |
 | Takara comes to a deal with magistrate. The
have to repair the Weatherlight and restore its flying mechanisms for him, than he will give
them freedom. Sisay, Hanna and Orim must go to Saprazzo
a city, inhabited by merfolks. They must go there to get an artifact
they need for the repairs of the Weatherlight |
 | Saprazzo is a city underwater and the merfolk
living there have the ability to switch between human legs and fish
tails. |
 | Saprazzo is lead by the vizier. She
refuses to give the artifacts to them, but tries to find a
solution. |
 | The negotiations are continueing, untill the
artifact is stolen. The merfolks are accusing Orim of the
theft. |
 | The vizier realizes that probably the
Mercadians have stolen the artifact and helps Hanna and
Sisay |
 | Hanna and Sisay are going back to the city and
consider what to do. |
 | They obtain some powerfull relics, which is
believed that they were from Ramos, the sky-god (in fact a
dragon-engine) and they search for the Saprazzan's artifact.
Meantime Orim is cleared of the theft charge |
 | Takara frees the rest of the crew. Hanna and
Karn are going back to the Weatherlight. The other are going to
search for the artifact. They fight an old Thran artifact, |
 | they find a very old and powerfull Thran
site |
 | and they encounter dryads, who are very
powerfull |
 | In the forests where the dryads are living thet
encounter some unpleasant people, but they are easy to
defeat |
 | Squee, a real goblin is promoted to a sort of
ruler by his Kyren 'cousins' He starts to be a little
arrogant. |
 | But as he persuits a juicy fly for
dinner, |
 | he find a underground hangar, filled with
hunderds of warships. Mercadia seems to help Phyrexia in their plans
to invade Dominaria |
 | Meantime, Takara shocked the whole crew, coz
she took all the Ramos artifacts and went back to Mercadia. She goes
back to the Weatherlight and reveals that he's Volrath (a
shapeshifter), the fallen evincar of Rath |
 | Therefore Volrath had already killed Starke,
which was ironicaly the father of the real Takara |
 | Volrath forces Karn and Hanna to put the
artifacts into the engines and plans to escape with the
Weatherlight. But he fails, because Gerrard returns and again he
flees from a battle with Gerrard |
 | At
that moment the Cho-Arrim and Saprazzans begins to attack
Mercadia. |
 | At first the Mercadians seems to defeat the
Saprazzans, but they can't stop the masses attacking
Mercadia |
 | The Kyrens starts to fight in the
air. |
 | But
they also fail in that attempt. Squee watches it in a mixture of
sympathy and relief |
 | Now they blow up the underground hangar. A big
threat to Dominaria is prevented |
 | With the explosion, the Weatherlight burst from
the hangar. |
 | In the city, the Cho-Arrim and the Saprazzan
rebels have won the victory, Mercadia has fallen! |
 | The Weatherlight and it's crew are leaving
again to Dominaria. They have to protect Dominaria for the Phyrexian
Invasion |
