Katana Racing is a racing team that was established in that ancient Shaolin. By ancient Shaolin I mean my high school. Several of my friends had cars, liked to race, and decided to start a group. This was in about 1997, dont quote me, in fact dont quote me on any of this, this is my story. So they started the team and came up with the name, which was originally going to be "Kamikaze" but it turns out they already are a team, and they are huge in our area. So the name "Katana Racing" came about. The sticker was designed mostly by some guy who had a tiny shop near where we lived. The sticker above is the original but some of the guys have different ones now. Whatever, i'm old school, just look at my car. So members were eventually added as they gained interest and got cars. We are all very tight friends and hang out together frequently loitering in King Soopers parking lot and inside Perkins. We do street racing sometimes, when we arent getting huge tickets, but mostly on the track. There is a nice mix of imported and domesticated cars, most of us are open minded to both. Even though some of us go to school far away, we still try to make time to visit everyone. Everyone gets together at "Katana Christmas" and exchanges presents and what not. Its a great team and a great bunch of guys......
