SUMMARY OF  EXPERIENCE

1).  In-service Inspection of Pressure Equipment.

Inspection of  Pressure equipment as per API-510, performed basic pressure and thickness calculations  for Pressure Vessels, Recommended repair Welding Procedures for defects in various Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. Performed DPT & MT. Performed UT thickness readings. Failure investigation and fitness assessment of  Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Piping etc,  External and Internal Inspection of Pressure Equipment, Risk based Inspection,  Arranged Profile Radiography, UT Scanning, H Scanning of Furnace Tubes, Review of plant P&IDs/Drawings/inspection isometrics /integrity review documents, inspection planning, Inspection of on-going pressure vessels, Review & interpretation of inspection results, Evaluation of the long-term/short-term corrosion rates, assessment of remaining life & future inspection intervals, Recommendations to the owner/user, Inspection during repair of the heaters, review of welding procedures/parameters, non-destructive tests etc, Review of reports of advanced inspection techniques like IRIS, RFEC, Non Intrusive Corrosion Mapping, prepared inspection reports for columns, heat exchangers, heaters, tanks, pressure vessels, Familiar with activities related to flow line inspections, Inspection of flow lines, Familiar with the Well configuration, X-mas Tree Valves & piping related issues ,Familiar with activities related to calibration of pressure relief devices & calibration witnessing, General visual examinations & familiar with inspection techniques for the tanks

2)Inspection

(a). Performed material inspection, Quality contract audit and Vendor evaluation for steel Pipes, Plates, Tubes, Forgings etc. went to suppliers’ premises to control the products quality before order issuing or product shipping;

(b). Carried out receiving, shop floor and site inspection for  pressure vessel, piping and Steel Structure, related to visual quality, dimension, weld, assembly, material traceability, surface treatment, coating, packing and identifying.

3).  Supervision

(a). Supervised quality management system, procedure implementation and document filing at boiler pressure vessel plant, jobsite and supplier premise;

(b). Oversaw fabrication process at shop floor or jobsite from raw material cutting, machining, welding, assembly, testing and coating to delivery packing ensuring adherence to quality requirements;

(c). Conducted pre-inspection meeting to carry out quality requirements, specification and ITP;

(d). Monitored, counted and reported the project progress.

(e). Arranged inspection, testing and heat treatment works.

4).  Testing

(a). Witnessed pressure tests and mechanical performance tests for pressure vessel, Heat Exchanger;

(b). Operated non-destructive testing related to RT, UT, MT and PT.

5).  Reviewing

(a). Reviewed and approved inspection and testing procedures, reports, Welding Procedure Specification and Procedure Qualification Record;

(b). Modified and enhanced quality requirements on drawings, specifications and contract documents so as to meet relevant standards, regulations and customer requirements.
