AFFIRMATION... Savage Garden holds firmly on top with their third no. 1 hit, "I Knew I Loved You". Their new album is excellent and my favorite tracks on it, besides "The Animal Song" and the current no. 1 single, are "Crash And Burn", "Hold Me", "The Best Thing", "The Lover After Me" and "Affirmation".

RECORD BREAKING TIME... Last week TLC's "No Scrubs" became the longest running single ever, clocking an amazing 40 weeks on the chart. This week though, "No Scrubs" finally drops out but it looks as if "Unpretty", its follow-up, will perform as well since it's still hanging in the top 30 after 25 weeks. The previous record holder was Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" with 39 weeks.
