SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY... Britney Spears scores her third no. 1 single this year with "(You Drive Me) Crazy". Although it's almost impossible to surpass the incredible seven week run at no. 1 of "...Baby One More Time", I would think this single has the chance of surpassing the two week run of "Sometimes". Britney will have to face strong competition from Mariah Carey and Lou Bega in order to achieve this though... definately not an easy feat. We'll see what happens.
CONGRATULATIONS... Although "Heartbreaker" hasn't quite yet hit no. 1 here, Mariah Carey scores a 14th no. 1 hit over on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Mariah ranks no. 1 in the category of "most no. 1 singles by a female artist" ahead of Madonna (11), Whitney Houston (11) and Janet (8).
