Chart Commentary
Reigning duos... Fat Joe and Ashanti continue to dominate the Top 40 with their megahit "What's Luv?". The track spends a third week at #1, but faces the challenge of Michelle Branch's "All You Wanted", which rises to #2 this week. Elsewhere in the Top 10, Shakira scores her second top 5 hit as "Underneath Your Clothes" rises to #4, and Sheryl Crow makes it to the #10 spot with "Soak Up The Sun".
Strong gains... This week, tracks by Dirty Vegas, Eminem, Paulina Rubio and Craig David post strong gains. The biggest impact position-wise was made by Eminem, whose "Without Me" jumps six places to #24.
Three Debuts... Ja Rule, featuring Charli Baltimore, scores this week's highest debut with "Down A** Chick" which starts its chart-life at #34. Other notable entries come from Anastacia with "One Day In Your Life" at #39 and Chad Kroeger, featuring Josey Scott, with "Hero" at #40.
