Chart Commentary
Back on top... After topping the chart with all three singles from "No Strings Attached", *N Sync hadn't been able to reclaim the crown with the any single from "Celebrity"... until now. "Pop" and "Gone" stalled at #2 and #4 respectively, but now, "Girlfriend" hits #1 making it the group's seventh chart-topper in less than 4 years.
Big movers, no newcommers... There's a lot of action on the chart, but no new entries. This week's biggest gainer is Tweet's "Oops (Oh My)". The track jumps from #26 to #13 and is followed by two Ashanti tracks, "Foolish" at #14 and "What's Luv?" at #15, with Fat Joe. Elsewhere, Michelle Branch lands in the top 10 with her sophomore single "All You Wanted".
