_________________________________________________________Chapter 4:

Robin walked to school, she had Health first period. She always enjoyed health class because most of the time it was a free period to catch up on homework or study for exams. However this time, they actually had a project.

"Students let me explain the assignment." Mrs. Solace shouted.

"Awe...." the class whined.

"I will be picking your groups for this assignment and they will be groups of two or three. Each group will have to come up with a menu and must be able to cook everything on the menu since when you are handing in your assignment I will be ordering something from it. So I expect to see good cooking." Mrs. Solace smiled. Mrs. Solace went through the class list putting students into groups. Finally it came to Robins group.

"Robin you will be with Richard." she smiled.

"Oh goodie gum drops. Richard said sarcastically in his head, and rolled her eyes. He then turned his eyes towards Robin. Robin smiled awkwardly at him, and he turned his eyes back to the black board.

The school day went by and lunch period was the exact same as the day before. Robin could not keep her eye off the interesting boy. After lunch she continued her classes until the last bell rang.

"Hey Richard! Wait up!" Robin shouted at Richard behind him.

Richard turned around; he did not look like he wanted to be bothered.

"What do you want?" he asked impatiently.

"I was wondering, since the health project is due soon...would you like to come to my house and work on it tonight, since I am not busy." Robin smiled.

"Heh...alright I suppose...but aren't you working at Hooters?" Richard smirked.

"No, of course not I only work at Hooter's on Tuesdays and Thursday and occasionally Sunday's." she said and crossed her arms.

"I'm just saying..." he snickered.

Richard and Robin walked to her house. They sat by the couch and for two hours they worked in silence. It was very awkward for Robin, but for Richard...well he just wanted to get out.

"Um...now that we are done that part, do you want to come to my room so that we can type and organize all of this?" Robin said sheepishly.

"Uh...sure" he said.

Robin typed everything up, since she was the faster typer of the two. Richard started plotting out designs and the possible name choices.

"Oh look at the time it is already 7:00PM! I told my mom I would be home for supper." he said as he rushed to gather up all the work.

"Oh okay..." Robin sighed.

They walked down the stairs and when Richard was about to leave, Angela came down.

"Well are you going to give the boy a nice hug before he leaves?" Angela said teasingly.

Robin glared at her. None the less she gave Richard a hug. He was warm, his arms rested perfectly on her back. For five minutes she hugged him, Robin felt so good.

"Um... Robin, I kind of need to go now." Richard said annoyed as he back away.

"Oh yah sorry, goodbye" she said and she waved goodbye. Robin felt very embarrassed by the fact that she hugged a guy for so long that wasn't even her friend.

"Goodbye Robin" Richard smiled as he waved.

"Well, well, well Robin, aren't you glad I made you hug me?" Angela teased.

"Oh just shut up!" Robin said angrily and stomped to her room. But secretly she wasn't angry at all. She was extremely glad.
