Sometimes in life we look for friends
Who might at times lend a helping hand
A friend that understands us well.
Who never, in adversity, turn around
Sometimes in life that friend we found,
May unknowingly, let you down
That friend that understands you well,
May very well, push you down
In the dumps you feel, about it all
Yet there's no one to cushion your fall
The dumps are dark, without the light
But still you persist, with the fight
The turmoil rages on and long
Without any signs of an abating storm
Still the heart refuse to budge
With drumming beats, it march the march
In a world so cold and old
Resounding is the heart of the bold
At journey's end we make our stand
For better or for worse, the story ends.
