Those Jews and those Christians: The mystery of
Judeo-Christian alliance and Gog-Magog solved.

Shaykh
Imran Nazar Hosein is an internationally known Muslim scholar who draws
unconventional conclusions through his analysis using both traditional and
modern day conventional methods that he normally credits to his deceased
teacher Maulana Dr. Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Ansari. He always
declares that none would have to take his word for it and one is free to
investigate his claims and conclusions. He insists on using ones own
intelligence and understand instead of being influenced by someone else's
thoughts and interpretations, which I think is a fair announcement.
In many lectures I watch him trying very hard to
explain and make his points on the meaning of the 51st verse from Surat Al-Maaida, which is the 5th chapter of the
Qur’an:
“O
ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the
Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors
to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of
them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.“
On his recent lecture on “Islam,
Russia, Crimea & the End Times” he discussed some common points once
again on which I would take the liberty to review and explore them myself to
come to a conclusion for my own personal sake with an intention to share my
thoughts and findings with the interested quarters.
In the same chapter (i.e., Surat Al-Maaida) in verse
# 14 we have been told that -
“From those, too, who
call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part
of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred
between the one and the other, to the Day of Judgment. And soon will Allah show
them what it is they have done.”
Thus making it clear that Allah is not telling us
about the same Jews and Christians; rather He is in fact talking about two
different groups of “Jews and Christians”; a group that are in opposition to
each other and another group that are in friendship with each other! The
following verse # 52 would make the matter even more clear -
“Those
in whose hearts is a disease - thou seest how eagerly they run about
amongst them, saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us
disaster." Ah! Perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory, or a decision
according to His will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they
secretly harboured in their hearts.”
Religiously, historically and politically the Jews
and Christians were in hatred and rivalry with each other for centuries.
Majority of the Jews (as well as many Christians) today are still to be found settled in the Muslim world
that chose to remain there whose forefathers initially came to avoid Christian
persecutions. But today, we are seeing a “Judeo-Christian”
alliance between a group of Jews and Christians who have compromised their
religious hatred for tolerance to form a friendship under a common agenda
called the “Zionism”.
This situation was absent when the above mentioned verses were revealed.
Therefore, the matter went unnoticed by majority of the present day Muslims not
realizing that another of the prophecies of Allah have been fulfilled! I too
may have missed noticing it if I had not watched his lectures. This unexpected
and mysterious alliance is not based on religion; rather if is based on
something else. In the above verse Allah Himself is giving us the reason for
such an alliance quoting “fortune” as the main reason that comes along with
“power”. Hence their common interest is power-control-dominance to earn
fortune. In other words, it is the ‘greed’ that is binding them together.
Shaykh has been able to link the discovery of the
naturally preserved (by sea salt water) mummy of the Pharaoh (Firaun) at a time (the mummy was discovered in
1898) when this mysterious
Judeo-Christian
alliance was
also formed around 1898 which is similar in goals and objectives of
the Pharaoh that was in the Quran as a warning to the Muslim world. But since
the Muslim world have abandoned the Quran and Sunnah and have been following
the secular godless system for centuries, they are no longer in a position to
know and understand all these predictions. Hence, their position is no better
than the disbelievers.
And We took the
Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with his hosts
followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he
said: "I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He (Allah)
in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims (those who
submit to Allah's Will)." Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before
and you were one of the Mufsidun (evil-doers, the corrupters). So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that
you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind
are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.). (Yunus # 10:90-92)
Allah did deliver the mummified intact dead
body of the great and powerful Pharaoh who was drowned in the Red
Sea while attempting to cross the river following the same separated water
passage that saved Prophet Musa or Moses (as) and his followers for the future
generation to see and witness how Allah keeps His promises. Among the many
people who were drowned, amazingly only the body of Firaun was preserved and
delivered that still remains fully preserved without any rotting in a museum in
Egypt! It was a
practice of the pharaoh kings to mummify their own bodies expecting
immortality. Therefore, Allah too have chosen to mummify Firaun to give him the
immortality he desired by preserving his body for all of mankind to see, which
is one of the greatest miracles of Allah for the world scientists to pay
attention to and learn the mechanics of how this is done! The manmade mummies
and this mummy is not the same; there was no wrapping on this mummy. But people
are hardly told about it and only a few of the people reflect on this matter.
The great Pyramids built
by few generations of pharaohs (also know as the Ramesses)
are still standing today, not as a place of worship or fear, but as a ruined
civilization that once existed in the region that oppressed masses for the
future generations to see. The revived secret cults are aspiring to
re-establish a godless Satanic world of oppression and injustice once again using
the symbols of pyramid with an all
seeing eye positioned on the top of it referring to the coming power and
reign of the one eyed Dajjal. No matter what, it is also understood that
the modern day Pharaoh will also face the same fate like the original Pharaoh
of the past. This is the exact message Allah wants to give to the new
generation of the Pharaohs by delivering a sample body from the past generation
of the Pharaoh.
Shaykh in his book “Jerusalem
in Quran” have managed to solve the puzzle on how this “alliance” was made
possible. It has all been made possible by the infiltration of God-Magog
(Yajuj-Majuj) people into the world of Judaism and Christianity in disguise of
“Semitic
People”, which they are not. A group of them pretended as Jews and another
group pretended as Christians showing adoption of these religions and then they
merged together to form this alliance. Their Zionist political and financial
movement targeting Jerusalem and Palestine directly relates to the
following Quranic verses–
And a ban is laid on
every town (population) which We have destroyed that they
shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us). Until, when Ya'juj
and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swoop
down from every mound. (Al-Anbiya # 21:95-6)
This “ban” has been lifted and the converted Jews have returned to forbidden land (Palestine) once again while the Gog and Magog too have been released as a first phase who are already among us infiltrating into most power structures and controlling us through memberships into the secret societies like the Freemasons often claiming themselves belonging to a “tribe”. The release of Gog-Magog in phases is also mentioned in one of the hadiths found in Muslim, Book #041, Hadith #7015 ; where batch by batch of them will be passing by the “Lake of Tibering” which is known as the Sea of Galilee today noticing the disappearing water. The hole that was created during the time of the Prophet (s) is now large enough to let some of them out in phases if not all. Probably following the world wars the wall would weaken and eventually collapse and then a large number reaming of them would swarm out all at a same time from all directions. Their number would be so large that on the Day of Judgment Allah would ask Prophet Adam (as) to sort out 999 of them out of 1000 for hell! See the hadith in Bukhari, Book #60, Hadith #265. It seems like that the Gog-Magog people are devoid of any social, ethical and moral senses; as a result they also lack sense of justice. It maybe because most of them have sold out their souls to Satan and therefore have become evil in nature. Instead of reading and following the Torah, they read and follow Talmud.
There is a link in between their reign and Dajjal. There are some ahadiths that tells us to recite at least the first 10 verses of Surat Kahf which is the chapter # 18 of the Holy Quran to protect ourselves from the deceptions of Dajjal. We do find some references of Gog-Magog in this chapter along with other interesting stories. One of the significance I have noticed is that Allah have mentioned a story of some young people who slept in a cave for over 300 years; where to me it seems like Allah is hinting to us that if He can hide and keep alive few people for centuries, He can indeed hide and keep alive thousands of Yajuj-Majuj people for a longer period of time! Dajjal too is one such case who is alive since the time of the Prophet (s).
The divine Books inform us that the
People of the Book are from a common
ancestry – i.e., Semitic; but what we find today is that there are two different
groups of Jews and Christians. One group is Semitic and the other is mostly of
Western European origin (Khazars) with red complexion (white) that
adopted Judaism as their religion and settled in present day
Palestine creating the
Zionist state of Israel. Therefore,
in our present day, we have a blend of two different types of “Jews and
Christians” – one of
Semitic origin and the other non-Semitic.
The occupiers of Palestine are not the real Semitic Jews. In order to suppress
the matter they play the game called “Anti-Semitism”, which is basically a
trick. This matter gets clarified from the
following hadiths –
Narrated Ibn
Abbas: The Prophet said, "On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw
Moses who was a tall brown curly-haired man as if he was one of the men of
Shan'awa tribe, and I saw Jesus, a man of medium height and moderate complexion
inclined to the red and white colors and of lank hair. I also saw Malik, the
gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire and Ad-dajjal amongst the signs which Allah
showed me." (The Prophet then recited the Holy Verse): "So be not you
in doubt of meeting him' when you met Moses during the night of Mi'raj over the
heavens" (32.23) Narrated Anas and Abu Bakra: "The Prophet said,
"The angels will guard Medina from Ad-dajjal (who will not be able to
enter the city of Medina)." (Bukhari, Book #54, Hadith
#462)
In the hadith above, Prophet Muhammad (s) is describing Prophet Isa (as)
or Jesus as a man of medium height and moderate complexion. Point to note here
that Jesus was a Jew of Semitic background. Now note the following hadith –
Narrated Salim from his father: No, By Allah, the Prophet did not tell
that Jesus was of red complexion but said, "While I was asleep
circumambulating the Ka'ba (in my dream), suddenly I saw a man of brown
complexion and lank hair walking between two men, and water was dropping from
his head. I asked, 'Who is this?' The people said, 'He is the son of Mary.'
Then I looked behind and I saw a red-complexioned, fat, curly-haired man, blind
in the right eye which looked like a bulging out grape. I asked, 'Who is this?'
They replied, 'He is Ad-dajjal.' The one who resembled to him among the people,
was Ibn Qatar." (Az-Zuhri said, "He (i.e. Ibn Qatan) was a man from
the tribe Khuza'a who died in the pre-lslamic period.") (Bukhari,
Book #55, Hadith
#650)
The above hadith is refuting the claim that the Prophet (s) said Jesus
was of red complexion as some hadith mentions. Rather it establishes the fact
that Jesus was a man of brown complexion, which is the natural complexion of
the Semitic people. Now carefully note the second part of the hadith that says
Dajjal
(Anti-Christ) is to appear as a man of red complexion clearly indicating the
fact that he will not be from a Semitic background. We can therefore rest the
case concluding that the Dajjal will be form the non-Semitic Jewish background.
Though the Gog and Magog have
settled in present day Israel in disguise of Jews, but the real Jews who are the
Bani Israel people are not all interested in joining them in this Zionist
movement. There are some groups among the Jews who oppose Zionism.
This should be an alarming point for the Semitic Jews (i.e.,
Bani Israel) to wake up and disassociate
themselves from the Zionist Sate of Israel and revert to Islam.
Surat Al-Maaida is a chapter where Allah is telling us the difference between the
true and false “Jews and Christians”. The fake ones are always busy to
mock Islam; where as the true “People of the
Book” makes no fuss about our religion; which Allah is pointing us at verse #
57:
“O
ye who believe! Take not for friends and protectors those who take your
religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the
Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye
have faith (indeed).”
So, we now have a reason for not taking them as our “friends and protectors”. Can
we really be friends with a group of people who constantly mocks our religion
and beliefs (including their own) and intentionally inflicts harm and injuries
taking the matter as a “mockery or sport”? Religion to them is just a joke and a cover to
deceive the mass people. In reality, they are the worshippers of Satan who is
laughing
and having one of his best times ever.
Though it may appear on the surface that they (the Zionist Jews and Christians) are in
good terms, but in reality it is not the case. They too have enmity among each
other to some degree as we can learn from the following verse # 64 below:
“The
Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be
they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely
outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the
revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their
obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and
hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah
doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah
loveth not those who do mischief.”
Another
important information that has been revealed to us in the above verse is that
Allah is constantly foiling their ‘false-flags’
leading to wars which Allah Himself is dealing with day and night to protect
His believing slaves. The frequent attempts of false flag attacks on Islam and
Muslims around the world by the Judeo-Christian Zionists alliance is a well

The
classification of ‘good and evil’ is further confirmed in the following verse #
66:
“If
only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that
was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every
side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow
a course that is evil.”
Therefore,
it is alright for us to stay in alliance with the “party on the right course”
and stay away from the “evil” ones. Shaykh stresses that the evil party is the
Judeo-Christians alliance who are in friendship and understanding with each
other for a common goal to achieve their “Zionist”
agendas by implementing the “New World Order”
based on the “the protocols of the learned elders
of Zion”, which is a long term agenda now at its last stage.
Another
interesting verse (# 69) we find in the same chapter that says the following:
“Those
who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the
Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and
work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
Pointing
to the fact that if they were to remain with their authentic Books, teachings
and practices they could receive salvation! But the question that automatically
follows, “Are they in possession of the authentic or original Books, teachings
and practices?” Most probably not; hence we find announcements on other parts
of the Qur’an that Allah would not accept any other religion and belief other
than Islam.
And
they say, "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a
Christian." These are their own desires. Say (O Muhammad), "Produce
your proof if you are truthful." (Al-Baqara, Chapter
#2, Verse
#111)
The
option is there ‘theoreticaly’ which is impossible to achieve ‘practically’.
“They
do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said
Christ: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord."
Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the
Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. They
do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god
except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a
grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.”
In
the above verse we see that Allah is mentioning about the
Pauline Christianity (though there are several
sects, groups and denominations present) who are believers of Trinity concept
of ‘(1) God, the (2) Son and the (3) Holy Ghost or Spirit’. Allah is objecting
to this concept calling it a blasphemy. Therefore, this is not the ‘good’ party
we have been told about earlier and we are not allowed to be in friendship and
alliance with them as they have corrupted their
theology.
In the following verses # 77-8 we see that Allah is asking us to warn them about their excesses with their religion suppressing and trespassing the truth following their own desires that would not only put them into trouble but the people who would be following them as well. This is an indication that some people among the People of the Book have a tendency of changing their religion for gain sake.
“Say:
"O people of the Book! Exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is
proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people
who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves)
from the even way. Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel
who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary:
because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses.”
Though
verse 77 is addressing the People of the Book, meaning both the Jews and
Christians, but the following verse is meant particularly for the Jews who
disobeyed. Now the question is, “Are we safe to take them as friends and
protectors when they themselves are in error and not safe?”
Yet,
many among us (Zionist Muslims
supporting the Judeo-Christian causes) do take them into friendship; and by
doing so we ourselves align along with them to earn the same wrath of Allah as
the verse # 80 tells us:
“Thou
seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are
(the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result),
that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.”
Verses
# 82-3 has added the Pagans (i.e., the Hindus, Buddhists and the likes) in the
similar line with the derailed Jews separating the devout and sincere
Christians who could be taken as friends and allies:
“Strongest
among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest
among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are
Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who
have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. And when they listen to
the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing
with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we
believe; write us down among the witnesses.”
In
reality, being located in Bangladesh which is next to a Hindu majority state
India we are fully aware of their arrogance and hatred against Muslims – both
inside and outside their boundaries (e.g.,
Gujrat
Massacare and regular
killing of innocent people at the border
areas) and another incident that is taking place in Myanmar (formerly Burma)
with the
Rakhine or Rohingya population
who were Muslims, which are similar to the relationships between the Zionist
Jews and the Muslims elsewhere, especially in Palestine.
Therefore, this is a clear hint to us from Allah about taking similar caution
in taking the Pagans as friends and allies as well. On the contrary, Allah is
revealing the nature of the true Christians who are not arrogant and responds
to the truth emotionally when they are faced with it. These are the Christians
we are allowed to be in friendship with, and even marry!
“O
ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and
(divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination),
that ye may prosper.”
Devout
and pious people stay away from drinking alcohol, gambling and unnecessary wasting
of time in games and gossips as the verse # 90 above is informing us. It is
very common and normal to observe the non-religious Zionist members engaging in
and supporting immoral and prohibited activities. For instance, we are now
witnessing a sudden hue and cry for
Gay and Lesbian Marriages!
Totally ignoring the historical evidence of
Sodom
and Gomorrah! Therefore, we
are to see these matters as a criterion to determine the status of a person
before taking them into friendship. If they are into criminality and sinful
acts, then we should avoid them.
Finally,
the last two verses # 101-2 address all the believers to abstain from asking questions
on matters that are explained to us as it is done about whom to take into
friendship and whom to avoid; because if we don’t follow the instructions then
we would not only suffer but might also lose faith altogether:
“O
ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may
cause you trouble. But if ye ask about things when the Qur'an is being
revealed, they will be made plain to you, Allah will forgive those: for Allah
is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing. Some people before you did ask such
questions, and on that account lost their faith.”
I
guess we are in alignment with our understanding about what our Shaykh is
trying to tell us all along about the matter of friendship with the Jews and Christians.
Now let’s look into the matter of other debate about the meaning of “Room”.
In
the
Surat Ar-Room or Rum (meaning the
Romans) which is the chapter # 30 with a total of 60 verses; only the 2nd
, 3rd, 4th and the 6th verses
talks about the theme which is about the Romans or Room; rest of the verses of
the chapter talks about other matter that are not directly related. They are as
follows:
“(1)
Alif-Lam-Mim. (2) The Romans have been defeated. (3) In the
nearest land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their
defeat, will be victorious. (4) Within three to nine years. The decision
of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the
defeat of the Romans by the Persians, and after the defeat of the Persians by
the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the
victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians) – (5) with
the help of Allah. He helps whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most
Merciful. (6) (It is) a Promise of Allah (i.e. Allah will give
victory to the Romans against the Persians), and Allah fails not in His
Promise, but most of men know not…”
Shaykh is in agreement that the prophecy has been fulfilled in due course in the Byzantine Empire who were mostly Greeks, but he is also insisting that there will be another victory for the Romans that the Muslims world would rejoice. His claim is based on the following hadith-
Narrated Auf bin Mali: I went to the Prophet during the Ghazwa of Tabuk while he was sitting in a leather tent. He said, "Count six signs that indicate the approach of the Hour: my death, the conquest of Jerusalem, a plague that will afflict you (and kill you in great numbers) as the plague that afflicts sheep, the increase of wealth to such an extent that even if one is given one hundred Dinars, he will not be satisfied; then an affliction which no Arab house will escape, and then a truce between you and Bani Al-Asfar (i.e. the Byzantines) who will betray you and attack you under eighty flags. Under each flag will be twelve thousand soldiers. (Bukhari, Book #53, Hadith #401)
We
need to do some research and brainstorming to understand this issue.
“The
surah begins by noting the recent defeat of the Romans (Byzantines)
by the Persians at the
Battle of Antioch. This defeat posed a significant theological and
sociological problem for the early Muslim community because the Christian
Byzantines were considered
People of the Book, or monotheists, while the Persians who defeated them
were considered idolators. The surah is in part a response to the non-Muslim
Meccans who took this victory as a sign that traditional polytheism would win
out over monotheism.[4]
In the third and fourth ayat, the Muslim community is promised that the
Byzantines will reverse their defeat into a victory "in a few years' time".[5]
This victory did eventually come at the
Battle of Issus in 622.” [Source:

Therefore,
the prophecy has been literally fulfilled in exactly nine years time from the
losing battle in 613 to the winning battle in 622. Interestingly though, the
chapter is mostly about the monotheism and polytheism aspects of the religions.
The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) is a rival
Christian group of the Eastern regimes against with the Western
Roman Catholic Church located at Vatican City in Rome,
Italy. Both are basically the same following the concepts of “Trinity” with
some differences in historical and political rivalry in the past. Therefore,
the question that naturally emerges, “Which of the two Christian groups Allah
is talking about in Surat Ar-Room?”
Though
there is no direct mention of a second round of victory in the Quranic verses
mentioned above, but we do find an indication in some of the ahadith that
refers to
Constantinople, which was the
central location of early
Eastern Orthodoxy
that had to be shifted to Moscow later after losing the city to the
Ottoman Empire.
“Abu
Huraira (ra) reported Allah's Messenger (s) as saying: The Last Hour would not
come until the Romans would land at al-A'maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of
the best (soldiers) of the people of the earth at that time will come from
Medina (to counteract them). When they will arrange themselves in ranks, the
Romans would say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took
prisoners from amongst us. Let us fight with them; and the Muslims would say:
Nay, by Allah, we would never get aside from you and from our brethren that you
may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army would run
away, whom Allah will never forgive. A third (part of the army) which would be
constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah's eye would be killed and the third
who would never be put to trial would win and they would be conquerors of
Constantinople. And as they would be busy in distributing the spoils of war
(amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, the Satan
would cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your family. They would then
come out, but it would be of no avail. And when they would come to Syria, he
would come out while they would be still preparing themselves for battle
drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer shall come and then Jesus
(peace be upon him) son of Mary would descend and would lead them in prayer.
When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt
dissolves itself in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all,
even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand
and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ).

#6924)”
This hadith indicates a stand off between the Roman soldiery and the Muslim army coming from Medina who would stand by the Muslims in Turkey in their defense. This event would happen after the event mentioned in Bukhari, Book #53, Hadith #401 quoted above. Therefore, Shaykh is correct about Byzantine Romans re-conquering Istanbul (i.e., Constantinople) once again! However, a betrayal from their end would result in a conflict with the Muslims.
If we pay a close attention on the dialogues that would take place in between
them then we would find no difficulty in understanding that the “Romans” are
actually the Russians who would be motivated to seek revenge on the Turks for
their wrong doings in the past perhaps under the rule of the Ottomans, which Shaykh often refers to the wrong doings of the Ottoman Empire when they used to
bring slaves and prisoners from Russian territories. Since Constantinople was
the center of the Eastern Orthodox Church where Russia is a part, it is now
safe to assume that Allah is referring to the Russians in Surat Ar-Room. See
the following hadith in reference to the one quoted above that indicates that
Constantinople will be invaded and occupied by the Romans which will be recovered
by the Muslims at a time when Dajjal will be released –
Narrated
Mu'adh ibn Jabal: The Prophet (S) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will
be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great
war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of
Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist)
comes forth. He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand
and said: This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu'adh
ibn Jabal). (Sunan Abu Dauwd, Book
#37, Hadith
#4281) [Yathrib is the old
name of Medina].
This
leads us to explore the Ottoman Empire or the Empire of Uthman or Osman. This
‘empire’ has an interesting history of its own which is different from the
history of Islam. In fact, this empire was established after the demise of the
Islamic Caliphate followed by the invasions of
Genghis Khan’s army that came all the way from
Mongolia! Upon provocation by
Shah Ala ad-Din Muhammad Genghis Khan formulated a
series of serious attack on
Khwarezmian Dynasty
with continued attacks on the other parts of the so called Caliphate that was
already weakened and dysfunctional by crime, corruption and independent rule by
dynasties away from the central command.
The Mongol invasion pretty much destroyed the Caliphate whatever was left of it
and forced most of the Muslims to seek refuge in Turkey and Iraq where they
regrouped under the leadership of Osman with assistance from the
Gazi warriors of the region then gradually
pushing the Mongols back in retaking Makkah and Medina. Since the emergence of
the Ottoman Empire, Medina has been forgotten and has lost its central role
play as the capital of Islamic state as it once was. Even after re-conquering
the Muslim territories from occupation the power did not return to the
Quraish.
Rather it went to non-Quraish tribes.
Narrated
Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut'im: That while he was included in a delegation of
Quraish staying with Muawiya, Muawiya heard that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr had said
that there would be a king from Qahtan tribe, whereupon he became very angry.
He stood up, and after glorifying and praising Allah as He deserved, said,
"To proceed, I have come to know that some of you men are narrating things
which are neither in Allah's Book, nor has been mentioned by Allah's Apostle .
Such people are the ignorant among you. Beware of such vain desires that
mislead those who have them. I have heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'This matter
(of the Caliphate) will remain with the Quraish, and none will rebel against
them, but Allah will throw him down on his face as long as they stick to the
rules and regulations of the religion (Islam).'" (Bukahri, Book
#89, Hadith
#253)
Therefore,
we are wrong when we say that the Islamic
Caliphate was dismantled in Turkey in
1924; where as in fact, the true Caliphate was lost much earlier in the 13th
century or even earlier. The Ottoman Empire was a pseudo ‘Caliphate’ that was
actually ruled by the Muslim Turkish monarchs, where the use of the term
“caliphate” was a convenient side banner for political convenience.
The
power hungry Ottomans went on conquering the neighboring nations in the zeal to
expand their empire and domain. Ironically, as Shaykh rightly pointed out they
were in friendship with the Judeo-Christians in Britain and France disregarding
the warnings of Allah as laid down in Surat Al-Maaida. They even established
their first bank jointly with them, which was the
Ottoman
Bank! By doing so, they have defied the warning of Allah
against use of usury.
O
ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury,
if ye are indeed believers. If ye do it not, Take notice of war from Allah and
His Messenger: But if ye turn back, ye shall have your capital sums: Deal not
unjustly, and ye shall not be dealt with unjustly. (Al-Baqara # 2:278-9)
The
Muslim Ottoman Empire started out great with Islamic zeal but ended up in a
bitter demise under the rule of subsequent rulers eventually being driven out
from power by the
Janissaries they
positioned in their administration and bureaucracy. Therefore, Shaykh’s reasons
for being upset on the Ottoman Empire are well understood.
So,
what is the significance of all this? If we pay no attention to Allah’s
commands, Allah would not pay any attention to us. Shaykh is warning the
Muslims who are taking help and support (finance and military) from the Zionist
nations and engaged in battles and wars in different parts of the Muslim world
(Shaykh is referring them as engaged in “Yankee
Jihad”) for
regime change against their
own Muslim brethren disrupting peace and harmony killing innocent people
including women and children, are in fact engaged in a serious crime against
their own souls and the ummah (i.e., Muslim nation; according to Shaykh they are the “Dajjal
Warriors”); because we do find some ahadiths where our beloved Prophet (s) is
warning us about the group of Muslims that would emerge who would have serious
lack of understanding of Islam and would cause problems. Here is one such hadith;
Narrated
'Ali: I relate the traditions of Allah's Apostle to you for I would rather fall
from the sky than attribute something to him falsely. But when I tell you a
thing which is between you and me, then no doubt, war is guile. I heard Allah's
Apostle saying, "In the last days of this world there will appear some
young foolish people who will use (in their claim) the best speech of all
people (i.e. the Qur'an) and they will abandon Islam as an arrow going through
the game. Their belief will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will have
practically no belief), so wherever you meet them, kill them, for he who kills
them shall get a reward on the Day of Resurrection." (Bukhari, Book
#56, Hadith
#808)
They
maybe thinking or they may have been deceived to believe or told that they are
engaged in a holy or pious act by joining in a jihad (Holy Wars) on behalf and
support of their Zionist masters, but in reality they are just fooling
themselves. Though this may seem odd to many, but this process of elimination
of different sects and groups in Islam (we find a prediction of
73 sects to evolve in Sunan Abu Dauwd) has also been predicted by our Prophet
(s) where the group nearer to the truth among the two would win. This may
continue until the expected leader emerges:
Abu
Sa'id al-Khudri said that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) made a
mention of a sect that would be among his Ummah which would emerge out of the
dissension of the people. Their distinctive mark would be shaven heads. They
would be the worst creatures or the worst of the creatures. The group who would
be nearer to the truth out of the two would kill them. The Apostle of Allah
(may peace be upon him) gave an example (to give their description) or he said:
A man throws an arrow at the prey (or he said at the target), and sees at its
iron head, but finds no sign (of blood there), or he sees at the lowest end,
but would not see or find any sign (of blood there). He would then see into the
grip but would not find (anything) sticking to it. Abu Sai'd then said: People
of Iraq. it is you who have killed them. (Muslim,
Book

The
true jihad is awaiting the Muslims that would be fought under the leadership of
Imam Mahdi (as) when he arrives who
would be from the family of the Prophet (s); thus a Quraish. See the following

Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin: The Prophet (s) said: The Mahdi will be of my family,
of the descendants of Fatimah. Abdullah ibn Ja'far said: I heard AbulMalih
praising Ali ibn Nufayl and describing his good qualities. (Sunan Abu Dauwd, Book

Abu
Nadra reported:" We were in the company of Jabir b. 'Abdulldh that he said
it may happen that the people of Iraq may not send their qafiz and dirhams
(their measures of food stuff and their money). We said: Who would be
responsible for it? He said: The non-Arabs would prevent them. He again said:
There is the possibility that the people of Syria may not send their dinar and
mudd. We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said this prevention would
be made by the Romans. He (Jabir b. Abdullab) kept quiet for a while and then
reported Allah' s Messenger (may peas be upon him) having said There would be a
Caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of
wealth to the people without counting it. I said to Abu Nadra and Abu al-'Ala:
Do you mean 'Umarb. 'Abd al-Aziz? They said: No (he would be Imam Mahdi.).

Return
of Caliphate is part of the divine plan. All the battles and wars that would be
fought prior to arrival of Imam Mahdi (as) are for Dajjal without achieving
anything, which would be a continuous struggle;
Yusair
b. Jabir reported: Once there blew a red storm in Kufah that there came a
person who had nothing to say but (these words): Abdullah b. Mas'ud, the Last
Hour has come. He ('Abdullah b. Mas'ud) was sitting reclining against
something, and he said: The Last Hour would not come until the people divide
inheritance and rejoice over booty, and then said pointing towards Syria, with
the gesture of his hand like this: The enemy shall muster strength against
Muslims and the Muslims will muster strength against them (Syrians). I said:
You mean Rome? And he said: Yes, and there would be a terrible fight and the
Muslims would prepare a detachment (for fighting unto death) which would not
return but victorious. They will fight until night will intervene them; both
the sides will return without being victorious and both will be wiped out. The
Muslims will again prepare a detachment for fighting unto death so that they
may not return but victorious. When it would be the fourth day, a new
detachment out of the remnant of the Muslims would be prepared and Allah will
decree that the enemy should be routed. And they would fight such a fight the
like of which would not be seen, so much so that even if a bird were to pass
their flanks, it would fall down dead before reaching the end of them. (There
would be such a large scale massacre) that when counting would be done, (only)
one out of a hundred men related to one another would be found alive. So what
can be the joy at the spoils of such war and what inheritance would be divided!
They would be in this very state that they would hear of a calamity more
horrible than this. And a cry would reach them: The Dajjal has taken your place
among your offspring. They will, therefore, throw away what would be in their
hands and go forward sending ten horsemen, as a scouting party. Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: I know their names and the names of
their forefathers and the colour of their horses. They will be best horsemen on
the surface of the earth on that day or amongst the best horsemen on the
surface of the earth on that day. (Muslim, Book

The
World War 3 will be fought between the same groups who fought WWI and WWII.
World War 4 will be fought between the remaining disbelievers and the Muslims;
and finally, World War 5 will be fought between the Muslims and Yajuj-Majuj (Gog-Magog) where Muslims will have to retreat and
Allah Himself would intervene to defeat them. This prediction is found in Muslim, Book #041, Hadith
#7015 ; where the Muslims would move to Tur
Mountain (Initially I thought this Tur Mountain is the one in Sinai, Egypt which
is presently known as the
Mount Sinai or
At-Tur or Jabal Musa based on a hadith from Malik Muwatta,
Book
#5,
Hadith
#5.7.17, but the 2nd hadith below explicitly says it is a mount
among the mountains of Al-Khamar in the area called Bait al-Maqdis) with Prophet Isa (as).
Narrated
Zainab bint Jahsh: That the Prophet once came to her in a state of fear and
said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs
from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog
and Magog like this," making a circle with his thumb and index finger.
Zainab bint Jahsh said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we be destroyed even
though there are pious persons among us?" He said, "Yes, when the
evil person will increase." (Bukhari, Book
#55, Hadith

This
hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir with the same chain of
transmitters but with this addition that Gog and Magog would walk until they
would reach the mountain of al-Khamar and it is a mountain of Bait-ul-Maqdis
and they would say: We have killed those who are upon the earth. Let us now
kill those who are in the sky and they would throw their arrows towards the sky
and the arrows would return to them besmeared with blood. And in the narration
of Ibn Hujr (the words are):" I have sent such persons (Gog and Magog)
that none would dare fight against them." (Muslim,
Book
#041,
Hadith
#7016)
There
are more ahadiths on Yajuj-Majuj in Tirmidhi and Musnad Ahmad that one could
look for to read.
Therefore,
considering our discussion above, what the verse # 51 is really telling us is
that we ought to be careful in choosing our friends and allies and should
abstain from taking help and support from the disbelievers, and if we don’t
then we would be considered as one of them (meaning disbelievers).
“O
ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and
protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst
you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a
people unjust.“ (5:51)
What
this really means is that we would automatically come out of Islam losing our
faith and would no longer be Muslims believing in Allah and His prophet (s). So
take heed while there is time.
