To set your computer's clock to new earth time,
Go to
http://www.newearthtime.com and look for the time in degrees.
Keep you current hour setting (or set it to the previous hour)
and when new earth time is at
000 degrees 00 seconds, set the minute hand on your computer's clock to zero.
(Right click over the time [16:53] at the lower right of your screen, left click on
Adjust Date/Time, adjust the time under the clock face, and click Apply when newearthtime is at 000* 00')

Why?
Your computer keeps time by counting the seconds from an arbitary time in 1997 or some other year.
Variations in the length of the year are preset, like dates and locations on which daylight savings time takes effect.
Currently New Earth Time (the official Internet Time) does not exactly correspond with Greemwich (Official non-web time) and would change daily if not reset occasionally because both clocks are measuring time at different rates. Internet time corresponds exactly with nature and follows the sun. New Earth Time is slightly slower than Greenwich Time, so there is fractionally more time in the day. This has been measured accurately over teh last 2,000 years so we are confident of our prediction contrary to what other scientists may say even though it may affect the results of athletic performances.
This will become obvious as soon as the ordinary wristwatch which may be mechanical or electronic, no longer has the capacity to slow itself enough to accomodate modern time, and will herefore need to be replaced with one which does perform to the purpose for which it was purchased. When this happens, either keep it as an item of jewelery, or return it to the manufacturer (
Seiko in Japan) for a full refund.
