Two new poems ------- Reflection As silver meets the flame to burn away the dross, so my life is filled with pain, but only filth becomes my loss. The Maker's eye is on my life which He guides in His direction. Though present sorrows may be rife, I'll soon be His reflection. Too Deep to Measure Your soul wraps tight 'round mine and wipes away my unshed tears. Your words begin to shine as you coax me from my fears. Our time each night is a treasure, brightening my life in those hours. Friendship far too deep to measure, understanding this love beyond my powers. Your kindness frees me from the mask. Your gentleness makes my shyness flee. Whether you care, there is no need to ask. You make me feel precious for just being me. Copyright,2004 Hannah, Used withPermission! |
