I see you age before my eyes
In my sight flesh withers and dies
Everywhere I see decay
I see your time trickle away
I see the future, Ive lived the past
I know what well become at last
I know much that cannot be taught
And so your lifetime is a fleeting thought
I see what becomes of society
I see the self-restrained begging to be free
I see what comes of humanity
And I feel its pain intimately
I see the Earth flourish once more,
With plastics within, another new ore
Slightly adjusts her chemistry
And mankind becomes a bitter memory
(Like global indigestion)
