On his travels through New England, noted fire apparatus historian Bill Hass found this well-preserved and fully-original 1906 Seagrave double-tank chemical and hose car, with two-horse hitch. It was originally used in South Manchester, CT. (Bill Hass photo, 1962)

South Manchester also bought another horse-drawn Seagrave in 1906, a service ladder truck, serial #1867.
