Besides photographing real fire engines, Bill Hass also scratch-built models of fire engines. He often traded photos of his models with other fire engine model builders. In one such trade, Bill acquired this interesting photo, showing a scratch-built model of a Seagrave double-tank chemical and hose car, attached to two horses. This model is very similar to the South Manchester chemical engine, but painted white. (Bill Hass collection)
