Fire Engines
With a factory date of March 12, 1997, the paint had barely dried on this Seagrave 75-foot quint (pump, hose, booster tank, aerial ladder, and ground ladders) when it was displayed during the California Fire Instructors Workshop (CFIW) at San Jose, CA, in April, 1997. Model number of this then-unsold Seagrave demonstrator unit was TR54DA, and serial number was 85022. Being my first time accompanying my dad to a CFIW show, this machine made a bigger impression on me than any of the dozens of other new fire engines on the show floor. (Ed Hass photo).
