| Scrapbooking is an obsessive hobby for me. When most people think of scrapbooking, they think of taping a movie stub or a concert ticket next to a photo of the event. I like to preserve as many family memories as I can using acid and lignin-free materials. I recently went through a box of family heirloom photographs and I was distressed to see them crumbling to dust in my hand due to the use of scotch tape and other harmful materials. I gained a renewed energy for scrapbooking all of my family's memories using safe materials-scrapbooks that will hopefully be passed down through several generations. I also think that I never grew out of the kindergarten art class phase of pretty paper, scissors and glue! |
