| M akka surfing beach in west St Thomas was host to the 2nd event of the 2008 National Open Series. The surf was 2'-3' and windy making it very difficult for the surfers to find waves which provided scoring opportunities. Twenty six surfers competed in 4 rounds for the points on offer. The standard of surfing was high and the final heat was packed with excitement for the small crowd of spectators on hand to witness the proceedings. the results were as follows... |
