The reason why the majority of my cards cannot be reproduced is that I try not to buy mass produced items. I love to recycle. Searching through charity shops and boot sales just for the perfect button or fabric. Also, I keep everything because one day, one day, it will be useful!
A big plus is that it keeps the cost of the cards down.
These ballet dresses above were made from handmade paper (not by me). Mulberry paper is one of my favourite tools, it adds a wonderful texture to the card especially when it's been made with leaves and petals like the two centre cards above.

The fabrics used in the cards above were originally bought to make patchwork blankets for my twins, but since they arrived I still haven't found the time to put them together. It seemed to be a waste to let them sit in my craft box (I say craft box, it's more like a walk in wardrobe!) gathering dust.
The stunning bright colours made perfect cards to brighten up that special day.

These are two of my favourite examples of recycling, they were made to be recycled again. I place a little note in cards such as these to encourage the receiver to do so.
A card like this would cost around �6, because I paid so little for the brooch and button above, I was alble to sell them for half the amount!
