Dear BrotherMarch 14th ‘52 I received your note on the 11th and two papers from home which gives me great comfort. (T)hey are all well and is fast preparing for their journey. (T)hey expect the Royalist on the 1st of April will you be on her. (I)ntends to be starting about the middle of the month. (T)hey want nothing from us, they have 4£0 for their journey. My mother is very content since she heard we had the land for them. (T)he(e) posted one to Maria the same day. (I)f you do not get answer soon write ‘gain to the agent. Richard is making boots for them. (T)he(e) make frieze frocks and vest. (H)e has their boots made. (T)hey are all very much rejoiced to have a home to come to. I hope we will have it before the(e) are here. (M)y mother is much cheered with the hope of seeing us all again. (A)ll she requests is to prepare to receive them when the(e) come as far as us & may the Lord bring them safe and be with them on their voyage. I can not get an opertuniety of sending this by hand it might be to(o) long to wait for I know you think long to hear from them to all friends is well. Mr. Nelson delivered the note; is happy you so interest. (L)et you send Maria paper as I cannot get one. (R)emember me to her. No more.
