My name is Jaspal, also known among older friends as JP. I live in Arlington, Virginia, USA with my wife, (mosly known as Nina. Our daughter, now married, is in Toronto, and son Manchit is studying in Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Prior to moving to the USA in 2003, we have been living in Canada since 1983. We had a good friend circle there. With the move to the USA, it seems that we'll have to start all over making new friends in the US. |

My hobbies and interests include dancing, solving algebraic equations, traveling in foreign countries, singing karaoke on Yahoo! chat, pushing pixels, flying aeroplanes, building sandcastles, playing online games, daytrading, building mosaic tables, bowling, walking, fingerpainting, and people-watching. No, actually all of it is wrong. I really like doing nothing, except relaxing, sleeping, trying to lose some weight, watching Howard Stern show, and seeing everybody around me worried. And I have to work too. I used to like handyman type of tasks, but not any more. I really look forward for my retirement, which is still about eight years away. |

Nina looks after the house. I occasionally take up some odd chores. Monica got married to Rohit Bhardwaj in August 2006. They now live in Mississauga. Manchit is studying for B.Sc. (Hons) Biology, after finishing 13 years of school, and is planning to take up Medicine or similar profession. |

My best friends are Balvinder, Sushil, Ravi, Ashok, Shreni, Vivian, Harry and Ted. We used to talk a lot about stocks for making some money, but we lost instead. Then we started talking of losing weight, but gained instead. Now we talk nothing but having good times, vacationing, retirement, and making best use of the remaining life. Sushil is into golf, but I am not. Balvinder likes to go to beaches, but I don't. Ted's main job is vacationing. Viv is retired and mostly vacations with his wife Pat. I am too busy working, but find time for vacations with our friends. This doesn't leave much time to learn on how to make more money. |
