	Jason, I can't think of only one memory of you that shines out above all the rest. One of the first things I remember makes me laugh...on the canoe trip when you kissed the fish...I have this wicked picture of it and it makes me laugh every time :o) But seriously, you have always been a wonderful friend, not to mention student and co-worker. I could talk to you about everything from swimming to God, and you were always there to listen. You are caring, intelligent, observant and considerate, to say the very least. Your enthusiasm and humour never failed to brighten this world, and I know that though your time on this earth was short, you touched many lives in ways that will never be forgotten. Jason may God Bless you and Keep you in His arms forever. And by the way, may I suggest getting together with Duke Ellington and starting Heaven's first Jazz Combo?? :o) Take care Jason, we all love you and miss you so much.

I really didn't know Jason very well - however, he did come to our house on occasion and interacted with the girls (Jessie, Sunita, etc.) on World Vision... On those visits he was very quiet, polite and well mannered. The group really respected his opinions, enjoyed his camaraderie and were grateful for his help. Jason walked like a young man that was happy, he often had a neat swagger that suggested he had a grip on life and was fully confident of the direction and path he was on. He was so multitalented and eager to help and contribute, he touched many lives in Pinawa - adults as well as his peers. I miss seeing him drive up and park across the street - not more than a night before he left us, I commented to Steve that his curfew must have been 11pm - he was just driving off promptly at 11 as I was coming home late from the office. I think of his friends often and worry about you all and deeply hope you are all managing to find a way to cope with this tragedy. This may sound funny, but not a day has passed that I haven't thought of his Mom, Dad and Nicole and hope that somehow they will be able to grasp life again and proceed. I am sure Jason would want us all to cope, the best we can, and be thankful for his time with us. I cherish my few but wonderful memories of Jason - what a wonderful, son, brother and classmate.

	Even though I only knew Jason for a week, he will always have a place in my heart. I met him at International Music camp last summer. I remember the first day at camp when Catherine (Reid) came to sit by Danielle and myself and then Jason came, and when I first saw him, there was just something about him that made me feel a little more comfortable there when I was so scared. I know this isn't much but this is the only time we really met. Whenever I think about him, I feel a sense of comfort. Jason's family and Catherine will be in my prayers.

		The thing I remember doing the most when I was around Jason is laughing. The most recent memory is on Halloween. The gun and the horse. Jason and Nik thought Suzanne or Catherine had hidden the gun from them, while most of the time it was just sitting in my trick or treating bag. At the pool we were laughing most of the time. Usually it was at the troublemakers, we had to get back at them some how. Then there was the trip to Winnipeg when we had to go around in a circle like three times because we kept missing the exit. I guess it was really my fault cause I told him to turn at the wrong spot, but we made it there eventually. Oh, one more thing. Olympic sit-ups on the bike trip. The funniest and grossest thing I have ever seen. Jason is also a person I admire very much. He was one of the nicest people I knew. Jason always included everyone and had a zillion friends. Jason was a very truthful person and always spoke his mind. He was a very respected person and I will miss him very much. We all miss the wonderful, yet sometimes interesting snacks at youth group. I never knew what to expect. Jason was such a happy go lucky, fun loving guy. See you in heaven Amy

			I didn�t know Jason very well, but what I knew of him was ALWAYS happy and smiling, enthusiastic about everything, and seriously in love with life. I remember this one time in choir practice when he was doing the speaking part of a song, and he couldn�t say it, and something totally different came out (sounded like a bit of gibberish to me :)) and he just laughed it off. I know this may sound dumb but to me, he was cool for laughing off his mistakes. That's what I remember. Miss u 4ever, Wilson -LdkS

		The memories that I have of Jason are when I was told that he wanted to go out with me, and all the summer nights that he spend with me and my friends when he was going out with Adri.

	I may have known Max/Wilson/Jason for only a week at art camp, but I could tell he was a really special guy. From what I've read in this email, he was an amazing guy. I really admire him for who he was. You're missed, Max.

				Wow. It's taken me so long to finally drum up the right words to say and now that it comes time for me to actually send them out I have to think all over again. I could go on for pages about canoe trips, bike trips, band trips, and tons of other not so recent things, but here goes nuthin: No matter what was going on with anyone, he always let you knew that he was your friend, you could trust him, and that he felt the same about you. Wils always wanted to help, and he never wanted to hurt. As for individual memories, I'd have to say I'm gonna miss our drama 30g class where we talked about what was important to us instead of rehearsing. Of course, who can forget cruising and all the parties we had at his house...even if there wasn't a reason. Everything, from famine, to Northern, to basketball scorekeeping, to the broomball league just won't be the same. We all miss you, "Cherished times that mean the most are kept in memory, very close."

Jason was a very special soul, and the world is already a better place for his having been here. A lot of his friends will always carry the things he modelled for them about the value of friendship and the power of faith. I can't help but think that he would wish for you, that you will soon be able to find peace, strength and comfort, and the hope of ahppiness your hearts so much deserve.
