The academy hosted a tournament. Jonathan is currently a green belt and participated in the flying sidekick and sidekick board breaking.

Jonathan got Gold!

Here's one proud gold medalist!

I didn't get a picture of him during the board break (videotaping!) but he did get Silver! He didn't break the board, but his form was great and they graded not on just whether or not you actually broke the board, but the effort and form also.

And here he is with his Silver medal.

He didn't even want to be in Tae Kwon Do when he started in September, but he has really enjoyed it.
