| Step Thirty One
Time to shape the sheaths. First i stop the hole with paper towel to prevent grit from getting down there(which would cause scratches on the knife blade) then I use a bandsaw to cut out the general shape and the sander to grind it to final shape. |

| Step Thirty Two
Fine tuning the sheath. At this point I usually have to use the heat gun to reheat the sheaths and adjust the tension....too loose and the knife will fall out, too tight and you will yank your head off trying to get it out. After everything fits right then i sand all of the sharp edges smooth. This pic shows the sheaths in their final stage |

| Step Thirty Three
Time to sharpen and clean the blades. I grind the edge bevels to 220 grit then polish them. I test to make sure they are shaving sharp and cleanly slice paper. I left out a lot of small steps and this pictorial is only for a very basic design...the more detailed a knife is the more steps. I hope you enjoyed it. |
