| Star Wars could be considered the epic of our age. It is not a fad as some would say, for that would reqire it to end or subside over a short amount of time. Star Wars is now in it's 25 year. That's a quarter of a century. I think we have gone beyond the point of "fad". Yes, it is true that I am horribly biased on this topic. But the fact that someone as generally objective as I happen to be can be biased on a particular should in itself tell you something. Aside from my obvious insanity that is. With that said, star wars goes beyond the badly acted movies and flashy special effects. It reaches every facet of humanity with the trials, struggles, triumphs and epiphanies of it's characters. For those of you that have experienced only the movies.. you have no say. I'm sorry but this statement is made with the entire Star Wars Universe involved, thus encompassing all of the novels, comics, and sourcebooks. Anyway, that being my "star wars nazi" impression. I really just love star wars. The books are what really got me into literature as a whole, which has very much increased my literacy and vocabulary as well as subjecting me to lifestyles and manners of speaking of all kinds. that was my "star wars has changed my life for the better" speech. they're all just rantings really. star wars is cool. that's all you need to know :o) | |||||||||||||||

| Random bio time! Boba Fett A clone of the infamous Jango Fett, Boba was created on the storm-ridden planet of Kamino. Jango raised his son as any true warrior would: strict rules, indifference, and endless training. From the time Boba could walk he was learning how to fight, how to fly, how to shoot; how to be the best warrior in the galaxy. Following his fathers death on Geonosis, Boba took the Slave I and Mandalorian armor once owned by Jaster Mereel, Jangos friend and mentor; and started his own career as a bounty hunter. He quickly ascended the ranks of the top hunters and was collecting top pay for bringing in hard merchandise. He worked for many many clients, obviously non exclusively, including Sith Lord Darth Vader. Among his greatest accomplishments include the single handed destruction of an Imperial garrison on Vryssa and the outwitting of every major bounty hunter for the capture of Han Solo, whom Fett had quite a history with. The only thing Fett does better than killing, is surviving. Having lived through a stay in the Sarlaac Pit, the destruction of a shipyard around him, and innumerable ambushes; he is the best in the business. Despite his being in the Hunt for well over 35 years, he is still a force to be reckoned with and tends to pop up in the most unexpected of times even though he is technically retired" |

| New Book Alert Look out folks! There's a new star wars book out! It's titled "Traitor", by Matthew Stover, a newcomer to the star wars novel writing universe. This book tells the tale of Jacen Solo during the events of the last few books in which he is assumed dead over the planet Myrkyr byhis friends and family alike. The book can be somewhat confusing if you don't pay attention and try to guess what will happen next too much. It's pretty good though, i absorbed it in less than a day, and i am thinking about reading it again to make sure i didn't miss something, cuz it's rather circuitous..so yea, you should totally go buy this book! **** out of ***** |
