Ack, it's been over three months since i last posted in here. Um, well, my semester is well underway, in fact, one of my classes ends next week (HTML). I have been doin lots of stuff i guess. Finally got around to opening a bank account. Got re-acquainted with a RATHER old friend (i'm talking like 14 years here folks) so i've been hangin with him a lot, as he lives close, unlike any of my other friends, and actually expresses interest in hanging with me, also unlike my other friends.
Um, i've been feeling particularly dower lately, for many reasons. My "writing" has reflected this rather well i think. not that many (any) have read it.. as no one really cruises my site anymore. But hey, who's counting site hits? oh wait, i am. ah well. so i finally got around to calling all my old places of business to persuade them to send copies of my 2002 w-2's to my actual place of residence, rather than sending them to people i don't know in Colorado, cuz hey, what do THEY need them for?
on a lighter note, paper doesn't weigh much. just thought i'd throw that in there for a cheap laugh. tho how much it will cost me in the end remains to be seen. oh wait, my HTML class is getting to the good stuff, so i gotta go. not that you care or anything ;-)
So i just finished my second final. I think i totally blew the crap out of my cultural anthropology final. by "blew the crap out of" i mean aced. maybe een 100% even. Now my gov't final.. that's another story entirely. See i only did half of the mandatory final question, because i had no clue what Keynes thought the causes of the great depression were. if any of you know i would be much obliged. I did know what he thought the US should do about it tho, so together, we make quite a team on Keynes' GD perspective. My math final starts in about 30 mins. no worried. it's math. if i get a 79 on the final, i get an A in the class. no worries.
Sorry about the lack of updates, sometimes it's hard to get to a comp lab at school the last month of the semester. i dearly dearly hope my laptop will be back in my possession soon. dearly. i did a lot of xmas shopping this weekend. i hope everyone is happy with what they got, and if you're really not, let me know and we'll see what we can do about it. not that you know what i got you yet. and for some of you it may be a long, long, LONG time until you do, considering the frequency (or lack there of) of our personal, physical contact. but worry not! if i bought you something, yer gonna get it eventually. matter of fact, i don't think you would even KNOW if i got you anything. muahahahah! look who holds the cards NOW. yea, it's me.

i am again a student at FJC for next semester. if you care what i am taking, i will be happy to post it. just TELL ME.
if you wanna know what to get me for xmas, i have a list. i'll gladly email it to you, or even AIM transfer it to you. but again, you'll have to tell me if you want it. cuz i'm not gonna just arbitrarily send out something of such great import and loveliness.
Today i am going to describe to you the indescribable pain that is caused when one loses hundreds of hours of work. See there is this "game" which i like to call Phantasy Star Online.. aka "The One" This game is just great. Thoroughly addicting and emminently satisfying as you slash and burn dozens of varying creatures in an action rpg format accompanied by an on/offline multiplayer option. Needless to say, i bought it AND a gamecube on it's debut date. Now after about 55 hours with one character, and about 40 combined with two other characters, i had myself a respectable start on mastering this game. Enter: a corrupting memory card. A memory card (not my own) gets corrupted while in my gamecube, and magically, i lose a character. one week later, it happens again, and i lose all my items. and so does another character on my memory card. one week later, another data corruption. luckily, i have been enforcing a strict "stay AWAY from my memory card" policy. Crisis averted. Or rather, the third crisis was averted. The first ones cost me well over 65 hours of hard work. by work, i mean gaming time of course. That's it on this topic as i have to mention something else before i head off to class.
So i have my finals two weeks from today. And i was reading over my last post, on Nov 22, in which i was describing how i did on my midterms. 2 weeks ago. and in two weeks i have finals. 4 weeks between finals and midterms. in a 3-4 month course. maybe "midterm" has another meaning to most people, but to me that would infer that it is the middle of the term. But hey, maybe i'm just counting wrong, let me bust out my abacus and i'll get back to you.

and now, off to american gov't, where i think we are watching a documentary on what "really" happened with Black Hawk Down. bye!
