Carpe Diem
As my eyes opened this morning
They saw a ripe new world
A world in which I had the power and the drive
To do so much more

More than my yesterdays brought forth
Discouraged days of fruitless speculation
Well, life's too short to speculate
You've got to take all you can while you can

'Cause we're only here for a little while
So let's make it count, let's see that radiant smile
Don't you know?
We've got so much to live for, but so little precious time
So take my hand, let's do what we can until the day we die

As my ears hear around all these beautiful sounds
They dwarf my giant tribulations
When my skin feels your skin, I can't begin
To express the euphoric sensation

You can't afford to miss even a minute
Of this precious time we're given
Don't worry about what you don't have
And enjoy to the fullest what you do
