Coach Luedtke lead us to our first state football championship ever in 1997.  He also was the 1997 state coach of the year.  Coach Luedtke also lead us to our first outright comference championship in school history with a 8-0 record in conference play and a 9-0 overall record. In 1999 Coach Luedtke lead us to another state birth, going into the championship game undefeated (13-0).  13 wins in a season is another school recored for Marshfield football.  Under Coach Luedtke Marshfield earned regional rankings (#8 in the midwest) and national (#48) in the FOX Sports Net Fab 50. This is another first for Marshfield football.
Coach Luedtke lead us to our first playoff appearance ever.  After finishing third in the Wiusconsin Valley Conference (WVC) we won four playoff games and finished 12-2.  Coach Luedtke is witout a doubt the best football coach in Marshfield history.  He has turned our football program into one of the best in the WVC, and even into one of the best programs in the state.  We hope to have Coach Luedtke around for a long time.
