The war began in Russia because of the assassination of their leader, which led to an invasion of turkey. The us was not going to get involved until Germany set a message to Mexico which was picked up by the British which said that if they help they will get all the land that we took from them. That was what fueling that led that mad the us people to go to war and then the German people sunk a ship with 128 Americans on board. That was when Woodrow Wilson asked the congress to go to war. Alliances helped a smaller country that had little army to get help from a big country with a big army. Nationalism is what makes the people have great pride in their country and would let them go to war over it. Yes there is tensions their will always be tensions to be a big country you have to have nuclear capability and with more countries trying to be big shots there will be more nuclear countrys and with more nuclear countries there will be more tension |
