Let's be honest. I'm an American, raised from birth to be a consumer, to want to have things, to own them, to discard them as soon as the new thing is out there. That's all well and good when you're well-ensconced in the American way of life but come this time next month I'l be dirt poor. Yes, I'll money but every penny I spend will bring me home against my will a little sooner. I have to make it in Germany, I have to succeed and my first goal, besides getting into the University, taking language courses and assimilating into a culture completely foreign to me is to get a job. Any job, no me importa , as long as it helps me pay the bills. This kind of attitude makes it impossible to have money to do things like buy cds and so I'm bringing two large books of cds with me. One of them is just albums and the other is bootleg cds. I'm slowly working on making this site American consumer friendly meaning that when you click on a band or cd listed here, it will take you directly to its listing on Amazon.com or whatever distribution website has some of the rarer albums.
