| It is very clear why Dirk should NOT resign with Orlando. First and foremost they dont have the money or resources to add to their core, and they obviously can't win a title with what they have now. You are also sharing the ball and court with Arenas, Artest, and Randolph. Orlando may also be in rebuilding mode, is that something Dirk wants a part of? Yes, we started to rebuild last year, but it is now completed except for one piece..Dirk. Dirk makes Boston the title contender we know we can be and want. Orlando also needs a about 5 players to add to their bench, and they dont even have a dolar outside of the LLE and MLE. How can they add the right bench and supporting players for the starters. If you look at the league leaders last year, Dirk, Arenas, Artest, AND Randolph were among the top 10 in minutes per game. Its to much, and Dirk deserves his own team. Here is a little exerpt from the Magic GM: (This is a quote from EMGIreyes) "he (Howard) was actually offered to me before you got him, I did not bite because he was to raw then. I am slowly rebuilding..." So you see that the Magic may slowly going into rebuilding mode as the Magic GM said himself. |
