Obviously Dirk is one of the greatest players in the history of the game, and without a doubt one of the best players now. Boston is a great fit for many reasons. First of all, we are an up and coming team, and we have a TON of UPSIDE AND POTENTIAL. Dwight Howard will be coming into his own this year, and Howard makes the perfect sidekick for Dirk. This would obviously be Dirk's team and no one else's, and it will remain like that. The city of Boston is a great place to live with your wife and children. The crime rate is very low, and the city is still growing. One of the most important parts of Boston is that we have a LEGENDARY history of basketball, and it hasnt quite been the same in a while. If we sign Dirk he will bring a title to Boston with the supporting cast he has NOW on Boston. There may be a few veterans needed, but that will be addressed. We have full confidence in out club, and I feel like Dirk should as well. He will bring something back to Boston that hasn't been here since the Larry Bird days....greatness on the court and an eventual title. These are just a few reasons of the many that make the Celtics the BEST and IDEAL fit for Dirk. To lead this team to the playoffs and title will cement Dirk has one of the best 10 or 15 players to EVER play the game. Jordan won titles with a good supporting cast and Pippen, and he is known as the greatest ever by many. Howard can be Dirk's Pippen, and Chandler can be his Dennis Rodman. I guess that would make Haywood Luc Longley, lol, just playin. But really, I truly feel this is the best place for Dirk, and I hope he sign with the Celtics and the city of Boston.
