Ratatouille
|
The latest from Pixar takes on the journey of a little rat named Remy voiced by Patton Oswalt. Remy is a rat with a gift. He loves food, not the garbage the other rats eat, but gourmet food. He gets seperated from his family and ends up living under once 5 star restaurant in Paris, France. Soon he befriends a young employee of the restaurant and figures out he can control his actions by getting on top of his head and holding his hair. Now Remy has the ability to cook and culinary comedy ensues. The truth is the worst Pixar movie is better than any other animated movie that other studios put out (Yes, I remember "Shrek"). This one is not the best. I'ts probably not even top 5. It really isn't that funny and I'm not sure kids will like it very much. I enjoyed it. I didn't hate it. It's hard to get past the fact that a rat is cooking. The running time is almost 2 hours, so the length is a bit too much as well. Don't run right out to see, but there are a lot worse things out right now. Yes, I'm talking to you Peter Parker. |
