Live Free or Die Hard

After being gone for 12 years, John McClane (Bruce Willis) is back for a fourth “Die Hard”. Our first fourqual (?) of the summer. This time computer hackers have broken into everything and taken it over. TV, radio, traffic lights everthing. Willis has to go pick up some hacker (Justin Long) and transport him to the police. After picking this kid up all sorts of chicanery happens. Things get blown up, people die, computers are hacked.

OK, I was amped to see this so my expectations were high. The first problem with this is that it is PG-13! Die Hard needs to be R, I’m sorry. Second of all, computer hackers? You want to call John McClain when there are computer hackers? No, when I need someone to look at the face of death and walk across broken glass and rip some foreign guys face off I call John McClain. The action in it is pretty cool, but they give all the best scenes away on the trailer. There really isn’t anything we haven’t already seen on the preview. Hey, the movie is pretty good, but not great. Willis does rule. By the way, I know that Ashton Kutcher is supposed to be really good looking. But do you ever think that Demi Moore watches “Die Hard”, gets excited, then watches “Guess Who?” and wonders what went wrong. Sometimes I think that, then I remember that I don’t care about Demi Moore.
