Hey everyone what's up? Its been awhile since the last update. How's it going?

I made a few updates. First, there's the
archived news section. Its kind of hard to fit all the news thus far on this page, so you can see all the archived news in this section. I also made a few corrections to this site.

Feel free to
e-mail me with any comments!

Hey everyone what's up? My summer was amazing, and I'm ready to go back to school.

I subscribe to National Geographic magazine...I recommend that everyone check out the August 2004 issue of National Geographic. There is a very important, informative article about global warming and its effects on the environment, along with with future forecasts about the toll of global warming on our environment if our dangerous consumption trends continue! The message is clear - we must change our consumption habits and work to stagnate the effects of global warming!

Please click
here for more information about global warming from National Geographic.

I also deleted the introductory audio greeting so the introductory page will load quicker. I also performed a few layout changes to this page so you can easily so you can easily read the latest news, and added a few
links to the link section.

As for updates, I won't get a lot of time to update this coming school year, so come back to this site to research global warming and read what I developed from December 2003 to January 2004 (for a school project). I'll probably update this site once in a while (once every few months at the most).

This global warming website can now be found at two different URLs:
www.globalwarmingsite.tk and www.geocities.com/jason_novick/global_warming. I also added this site to Google search! Feel free to e-mail me with comments on this site.

Global Warming
Global warming is the rise in the Earth's average temperature. Many experts believe that global warming has been caused by human activity. Other experts contend that global warming is a result of a natural fluctuation in the Earth's temperature due to natural factors. The environmentalists claim that drastic action must be taken now to preserve our environment; other experts argue that this action would harm the economy, and that human activity poses no threat to the environment. I have decided to write this webpage from an environmentalist's point of view, since I firmly believe that global warming is the result of human activity, and that drastic action must be taken now to preserve the Earth's environment.
This webpage will examine global warming in the following areas: the causes of global warming, the potential consequences of global warming, and solutions to global warming.
