I started playing when I was 16 with some old friends of mine, playing Oasis and AC/DC covers.
Who inspired you to play the drums?
All kinds of drummers but the most important ones I guess are Alan White, Taylor Hawkins and Chad Gracey.
How did you meet Jonas and become a member of the band?
I saw this add in a music store that read 'two brothers, (Oasis fans) wants to start up a new group playing Oasis covers and originals is looking for a drummer' so I gave him a call, we met up and he played me some songs that sounded cool and they liked my drumming I guess and that was it.
What is the name of your favourite JASON song?
I have so many favourites but my absolute favourite song right now is a song called Ready To Go! It's the ultimate rock song and I * love to play that one!
Do you get on well with the other band members?
Yeah, for most of the time but me and Jonas have been together for 8 years playing music so every now and again we disagree but it's all cool cos we know each other very well and he's like my brother and so I guess thats why we fogive and forget pretty quickly.
Yeah I think we both are. We just want it to sound perfect before we let anyone hear. We are not satisfied until WE get blown away by the songs and by then we know we have something great!
Who are your favourite bands and music idols?
Oasis are always gonna be my number 1 I guess, but I am a big Metallica fan, and I love, Live, Foo Fighters, Travis, Manics, Stereophonics, Social Distortion, Coldplay and so on...
What does Music mean to you?
Everything! It satisfies all my needs, It's like having *** but ten times better!
What do you feel when you are playing a live gig infront of an audience?
Nervous as ****! But then that turns into excitement and then pure joy and then sadness when you have to leave the stage. It's the greatest feeling in the world and everyone should try it!
What do you hope for the future and for JASON?
I hope that someones going to recognise our music and realise that we are the ones that are going to change rock n roll and bring back the beauty of rock n roll which is melody, simplicity and greatness. **** Razorlight & Frans Ferdinand. Those days aren't gonna last once we get our chance at putting out music. Thats a promise!
