INVOCATION
Pastor: In the name of the Fatherand of the son and of the Holy Spirit.
Cong: Amen
Pastor: Today we are are gathered at this place to worship God in memory of his child, Irene Stutheit.
Cong: We lift up our voices in praise and thankgiving.

ASSURANCE AND PRAYER
Pastor: Blessed be the Godand Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of all mercy and the God of all consolation. He comforts us in all our sorrows so that we can comfort others in their sorrows with the consolation we ourselves have received from God.
Cong: Thanks be to God.

Pastor: When we were baptied in Christ Jesus, we were baptized into His death. We were buried therefore with His by baptism into death so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live a new life. For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall then certainly be also united with Him in a resurrection like his.
Cong: Tears may linger at nightfall but joy come in the morning.

Pastor: Let us pray: O God of grace and glory, we remember before you today our sister, Irene stutheit. We thank You for giving her to us to know and to love as a companion in our pilgrimage on earth. In your boundless compassion console us who mourn. Give us your aid so we may see in death the gate to eternal life, that we may continue our coures on earth in confidence until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before us; through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Cong: Amen.

PSALM 23   [congregtion reads Psalm responsively]
Pastor: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
Cong: He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters.

Pastor: He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Cong: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,

Pastor: For You are with me; Your rod and staff, they comfort me.
Cong: You prepare a table befor me in the presence of my enemies. You anointmy head with oil; my cup overflows.

Pastor: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
Cong: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Pastor: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
