I became a Christian at age eleven and have gradually become more convinced since then that only an increasing acceptance of Biblical principles in our society will solve the numerous social problems we face. This page provides links to Christian resources that address how Biblical principles can be applied practically in modern society by individuals, families, and churches, as well as some information on my own religious background. I am a lifelong member of the Churches of Christ, one branch of the American Restoration Movement, which began in the early nineteenth century. My family is part of the Vaughn Park congregation in Montgomery, Alabama, where I frequently teach adult Bible classes on Sunday mornings. Before moving to Montgomery, I was a part-time preacher for the congregation in Coy, Arkansas, a thriving metropolis of 116 persons. |

I am always on the lookout for material dealing with the Christian family. The observation that the modern family as an institution is breaking down has become a commonplace. It is up to us Christians to model the Biblical pattern of the family to the rest of society so that A) God will be glorified, B) our families will function as God intended, and C) others may witness firsthand the superiority of God's way and adopt it themselves. |
