| Jason began his Martial Arts training at the age of 6, when his mother enrolled him at a local Judo class in his hometown of Tinley Park Illinois. From there on Jason spent the next ten years "Martial Arts Hoping" as he calls it. " I studied several martial arts through my teen years. I feel that each of them have contrinuted to the Martial Artist I am today. They each were the "right" Martial Art for me at that time in my life." Jason credits his Uncle Dean for his love of the Martial Arts. "I remember one Thanksgiving in particular when a slimghtly rambuntious 9 year old Jason was spun around and held on the floor with a wristlock, lovingly applied by my Uncle.
