The ad features a topless Beckham, lying on an operation table being scanned for his football knowledge and skill.

As doctors, various sensors and medical machines monitor him, Beckham begins to take on an android status and ends up quite freakily sporting a PlayStation socket in the middle of his forehead, and menacing eyes.

Mini Becks in the game...'Go Go Beckham! Adventure on Soccer Island'

Well, Beckham probably won't be much use in Japan with only one foot.

This game is called Go Go Beckham! Adventure on Soccer Island. No, really - it is.

It's a platformer that sounds exactly like the old Amiga game Soccer Kid. Beckham visits Soccer Island (like you do) only to find that the evil Mr Woe (Alex Ferguson?) has taken his ball home, along with everyone else's. The Beckster must track down the missing sports equipment by using his silky soccer skills to bamboozle Mr Woe's henchmen.

The game promises several different different types of ball for the Man Utd superstar to boot around, and instead of a score meter, a realtime counter will record the player's £9 per minute wages as they clock up, 24 hours a day (note: that last part is a lie).

The game will be released in August 2002.
