[-Title: "The Cycle."-]

"Often imitated, but never duplicated."

[. Fall-Out #3 .]

Only a few more days left, and there would be hell, and nothing short of it. A list of good matches to come, and the best left for the last. Many people had hopes of being there, but just that many had failed for the chance. Only two would be able to live in the moment, and share all of it. Everyone would be watching them, people around the world, millions. Not to mention their families, and the mark to make on the rest of the world. For York, this wasnt much to say. He has already made a mark, for holding the belt as long as he have, and being as dominant as he always is. Cade, on the other hand, has had an off and on season. One moment, he is atop of his game, beating everything that comes his way, and then the next he has a small slope. Then from no where he returns.but will it last? Cade believes it will this time. Hes firm in his ability and is because he knows what he has, and knows what it takes to win. And for the first time in his wrestling career, he believes the chance for victory is rather large. Everything is turning for his favor, the tide follows at his feet. It all looks too perfect for him to fail, it would make the ending for the story not even readable. While hes even the bad guy on this side of the mountains, hes predicted to win, 4:1, York being the only one who has belief in his ability, which should be a good thing. But since when did statistics show anything correctly? Hell, more than half of them probably are made up. But this will all come down to the struggle of the force, and only the best can survive, in a few more days, this hell will break loose.

The scene opens up, in a dark room. Its a room that weve all seen before, but its not the most familiar place in the world. Theres a dim light around somewhere, and can be recognized as a lighter. And instead of it being Cades face that is show, its Gabriel Logan. Hes wearing a grin apon his lips, looking over to the shadow next to him, this man assumed to be Cade.

Logan: Well, well, well buddy, it looks like your time to shine is coming closer. Youve worked your ass off day in and day out, and I really would hate it if all of that went to waste. Worst of all, youd have to stand up in front of all those fans, and eat all of those words. York would never let you live that one down, along with all of the other jokers that run around this place.even those who think that theyre some cool shit.

Cade: Yeah, but I wouldnt worry too much about that, Gabe. I mean, since when did opinions get anyone anywhere? Anyone can say what they think, but that doesnt mean exactly whats right. Sure the publicity around predicts Cade Silver, and all of the polls on all of the Xtreme Wrestling sites show me winning by a land slide, but that doesnt mean anything. Theres been some talk around the locker room, that York is even thinking about passing it down to me without a challenge, sort of his way for passing on the torch to a new generation. But no, I dont want the piece of shit title if its won like that. It takes out all of the meaning. Because if he was to do that, it would take the value out of that title, almost as much as when Marx passed it on to Vanchiez, and that would be a fucking crying shame. If that belt became such a heap of shit, that it didnt even mean as much as the Dual, then there would be no reason to even hold it. I wouldnt want it, if every Tom, Dick, and Hairy could get a chance at it. People like Nero Cain, and Jon Hampton expect to just stroll in, and get the biggest shots in the world, but thats not how it happens. Around in these rankings, youve got to earn what you get. Nothing is just given to you. Hampton was given a simple test to just get into Futures, and before that time, I worked my ass off, busted it time and time again just to make my way into the rankings. No, that doesnt make him any better than me, but this place has really gone to hell.

Logan: Yeah, I can really agree with you there Mate. From the times I can remember, a few years back, when I only could watch this place on video, I noticed a huge change. Every year, the titles change hand, thats only as customary. But the only piss poor thing about this is, every time a new pair of hands take a title, the title keeps losing value. Management puts these one rate losers up on top of the chart, and expect them to put on some kind of show, earning nothing. Thus, making any title available for anyone, its a piss bucket if you ask me. Nothing but a piss bucket to drown rats in.

Cade chuckled a bit at this, and shook his head, letting out a bit of a shy. The sound of a chair scooting could be heard, and also someone standing.

Cade: I couldnt agree with you anymore than thatthis place is really going down, but I mean, what can you expect with such poor material? In one damn season, you lose every single guy who makes this place special. As much as I fucking hate Chesney Clausen, I didnt mind seeing the guy around. He was a big challenge, and he made the mid-lower cards afraid of him. Thats back in the time, that no big tournament was held, and simply second place, became the top of the world.I busted my ass in that Tournament, and of course, I was paid back. But what I didnt expect, is for Angelese, who finished behind me, to get almost as much credit I get. Now thats about a crock of shit.along with that, back on the topic of Apocalypse, he just joins the joint, and is practically thrown to the top before he even had the time to prove himself, and no, the list goes onWe have Malenko, just being hes equipped like a Rhino, can make it to the top, without the slightest wrestling no how. And yet, hell probably be the more remember able thing. But there is one thing I can agree with ya, Apoc ole buddy. This thing that we call a sport, isnt a comedy club. Were not here to cut a few giggles, were here to kick some ass. Just because guys think theyre smooth and can make the audience laugh a bitboy, thats not shit

Logan: Thats exactly what Malenko was, Cadehe didnt know a DDT, from a damn hamburger. But look how high that he was able to make it, hell, they only put that guy so far up in Evils ass, so that he could make the audience laugh a bit, before he has his ass kicked.but thats nothing new. If this whole place was devoted to the talents that they really had, and made people work for what they have, and will getmaybe the value would raise that much more.

Cade: No my friend, theres not maybe about it. No maybe, baby. Theres not second guessing that thought Logan. If this place was what it thought was cracked up to be, then wed have more people trying to join it then what we do already. Of course, we do have some great talentbut we also have the largest mid carders trying to be Main Event, probably more than any place that Ive ever seen. And all of these rookies seem to diss Jones the most. Theres one thing that guy has done, that none of you pricks will never do. His name is one of few in the Hall of Fameof course he may bitch a little here and there, put up a cuss, and complain some, but hell, we all do that a little ourselves. I respect the guy, maybe more than anyone around here.York needs to be taught a lesson though, hes went for way too long, without a paddling. You see, when I was in school, and you were being a bad little shit, you had the hell beat out of you. And I believe the same should go in wrestling. Those who lack, need to be put in their place.

Logan: Yeah, Mate, but youve also got to see it this way. We can both agree that Jones has proved himself enough, but York has done the same. I hate the guy more than I hate anyone around here, but the fucker has made himself a Legend. If he was to leave tomorrow, his name would be inducted in the Hall of Fame, faster than he could fall down on his ass. That much you could only agree to.

Cade nods some, and smirks, listening to him, and pulls a window shade open, pulling some light into the almost pitch black room.

Cade: Yeah, I guess so. Hes a big name around here, and he always will be. When people think about this place, they use him as symbol, but all of that is going to change.Im not about to settle for second place. The only name thats remembered, is the one that finishes out on top. Shotgun made that belt a big one, and York took it, and made it even bigger. And with that fuel added to the fire, I want to do something neither of those men have been able to doand thats to have the ability to make it something its not even right now. Itll be some hard damn work, but thats work Im more than willing to do.York is a good man, I respect him a lot, but his time has came into an end. When he steps into that ring, 2K5, is stepping into the future. And once the night is over, hell be residing in the past, as my rain of Championship. He knows as well as I do, that the time is rapidly approaching. Hell, hes been around longer than I have, he probably knows it that much better

Logan: Yeah, his time is up, theres no doubt about that. But I dont expect him to simply retire after you put him down. Shotgun did that, but he had reason I guessYork is a bit more of a competitor, but since he has taken the level up a peg higher since Carlos held the belt, that means youre going to have to take it up another level, and make it something else. Its the biggest in the federation right now, but I believe you could make it even more famous, other than allow some of this rookie jerky to take it, and make it to some kind of joke. That I dont think either of you two would like to see.

Cade: No, I would rather die than that. Hell, I would rather York keep that belt until his ass becomes so old, that hell need to draw Social Security with the local legend, Hulk Hogan. Im not about to see that belt turn into shit, after all the way its made it.Its passed down hands, way before my time, and this place has remained on a good, solid foundation. And before I came, there was no doubt that this place would live forever. This is a new generationand with the way things are going right now, anything could happen. Everything is going to shit. Not just the federation in general, but the world. We all could die tomorrow, or we could live to wrestle another day, it only depends. I may be no Christian, but neither is Chris, but he better pray to fucking god, that he doesnt think so high of himself, that he doesnt think he can actually losebecause if he thinks hes some god of wrestling, the only person he is fooling is himself. York is a classic, and all classics fade out into a newer generation. Ive already seen it happening, with the passing of Shotgun. All legends die hard, and thats when the rookies have to step up, and do what the old guys have done. York, what Im saying isyou may not be the worst wrestler, but youre far from the bestyoure done, your career is complete, and you need to retireits simple the cycle buddy, no hard feelings.

Cade smirks some, turning to Logan as he nodded a bit. Cade walks around a bit more, and bent down, hand digging around in a cooler, pulling out a bottle of beer and popped the top, holding it by the neck, and looking back into the camera.

Cade: I have nothing to say you fucking pansy, tell Keller he got what he wanted, and shove it up his ass.I dont care if he isnt around to do it himself, but he can hire Bobs little secretary if its that much hair off his ass.but I have nothing else to saybut wait, one more thing

Cade grabs the shirt of the camera man, as the other hand pulls the camera right up into his face as he snarled just a bit.

This is Cade Silver reminding you.Yorkand all the rest of you watching.when you face Cade SilverYOULOSE!

He spat in the camera, and pushed it away with a harsh strength, the camera falls to the ground, and hits hard, enough to send it into a gray fuzzythe scene is lost

"You didn't beat me...I let you win."
